If they are saying now that it will be the end of next year, does that suggest it will actually ship sometime in 2014?

Either that or the pre-order end date is the real deadline and they felt they're close enough that they'll hit the min number by then and have to give up this "you may get this item" ordering crap.

The only time they've not made something was the YJ figures, and they'll likely eventually make them anyway. I've learn to just never fall for Matty's lies and traps over the years collecting DCUC.

I don't know Spazzy. Once you get a couple Classics, you start to see how awesome these figures are. Its like crack. Its hard to stop. I've been on a binge buying all the figures for the past 3 weeks now. I still have a 1/4 way to go to complete my collection. The only one I don't see myself gettin is Shadowweaver. She is too much money on the aftermarket. I'm not paying that for a 6" piece of plastic, I don't care how big of a MOTU fan I am. :cuckoo:

I used to be a completist, but broke the habit recently by selling most of my prized G I Joes vehicles...not super valuable but they meant alot to me, so if I can do it with them I am not worried about the classics, but I probably will get at least 5-6 definites from what is released now, I don't know what the dragon is that will be pre ordered next month but it is pretty cool looking

Same thing happened to me earlier this year, i bought Skeletor and then a few months later i end up with just over 50 figures and growing, BattleCat, Panthor, Swift Wind and the Wind Raider...i think i'll pass on Granamyr though, he looks nice but, the price is kinda BS..$60 makes more sense.

Seriously though, it is quite exiting to see how the actual castle will look like, even though I might never buy one for myself. The price is not that bad, but TF, metal gear and G.I. Joe stuff and miniature figures comes first then motu. Though it would be cool to own some of my old favourite motu characters, but perhaps they don't need an actual home for themselves. And I don't quite know where to put something that big.

But it is fun to see what the actual product will look like.

I don't see why some of you think Mattel is dishonest about the thermometer. Mattel did zero sculpting on this project because they had to show management guaranteed sales numbers before they would approve it. Playsets are rare at retail these days, so why is it such a stretch to believe that this was how they had to handle it for an online exclusive collectors line? I really don't think Mattel would have moved forward with Grayskull unless they met the minimum, or got so close that they could make up the difference during the remaining preorder window.

As you know, December 18th sees the Mill Creek 22-DVD release of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe - 30th Anniversary Commemorative Collection: Limited Edition. In the studio's original press release for this title, they mentioned a number of bonus pack-in items that will be enclosed with the collectible packaging. One of these was described as "An 11-Track CD featuring selections from the Filmation He-Man and the Masters of the Universe series by Shuki Levy." Now Mill Creek has kindly sent us a look at the liner notes for this Audio Soundtrack, and it lists the 11 tracks which will be included on the CD. Check that out below, and under that you can also find a new promo trailer that the studio recently provided us with as well. Take a look!

It's crazy how all of the sudden Castle Grayskull is getting so much attention!
Icon heroes Card-Holder and Statue, Mattel's playset and this DVD set!
 
Grayskullman and Draegoman are the popular winners of the 30th figures...these two will be higher prices on secondary market
 
Grayskullman is a nice figure but, i feel it seems a bit overrated and seems a bit of a easy character to recreate into action figure form compared to the other choices Mattel were presented, great concept though just, not too creative.
