The pics of the figures next to the Castle mock-up on He-man.org's news page are amazing! He-man on Battle Cat can fit through the main entrance! Even Granamyr is totally dwarfed by it. So... cool...

Yeah, sorry Buttmunch as Zodach pointed out you're wrong on that account. I'd like to think that we're close enough that'll it go through if it's not actually already over and they just haven't updated. But the message should be that if someone is actually planning on getting this thing anyway, don't just assume it'll go through. Order it now.

I obviously didn't order the YJ so I must have missed the thermometer, but I'm still right that Ghostbusters didn't have one

Hey guys,

Quick update as we head into the final wee hours of the night for the presale.

We re close, but not there yet. So if you are still on the fence or looking to prebuy the castle, I'll hit the ask matty forum tonight for any last min questions that could tip you over! ;-)

Also, we may not know exactly tomorrow AM the results. It looks like a few fans have placed what we would call "bulk" orders for the Castle. Quite a few are from well known existing customers, but a few are folks we don't know. So to ensure our quota is correct, customer service will send out a courtesy email and if needed phone call just to verify some large quota orders. If you do receive a call or email like this, it will help a ton if you can just verify that yes, you did intend to place a large quota order.

It is fantastic to have a few of these as it may mean the difference between going forward and not. But if they are not true, we'd hate for orders like that to push us down into the "can't make it" zone. So please bare with us as we reach out to these customers to ensure these orders are legit and we can know for sure if we are in the "can make it" zone!

We'll have results as soon as we can! I hope we are there, I really do!

If anything I would bet that the suspicious large orders could be some fans who intend to cancel their credit card before Grayskull gets released, but they want to see this go through. If that's the case I'm sure they will confirm with Mattel that their order is legitimate even if it isn't. Or maybe I am completely missing the mark here.

That actually makes sense...

...in any case, just got my order in. Fingers crossed this baby happens! I have no idea where I'll put it, but logic like that tends to go out the window when something this epic is involved.

*sigh* I wonder if we'll even find out today... seems like we're at the bare minimum with these "orders"

I know everyone is very eager to get results for the Castle. So are we. Essentially we are STILL waiting for a few fans/customers who bought a large number of Castles to return our calls/emails and verify their order. Without their orders we may not be at the min and due to the high number of units bought by these customers we need to verify by phone these orders are legit (I have no reason to assume otherwise, but we need to check).

So please, if you recieved an email or call from CS in the last few days asking to verify your order, PLEASE return our call and let us know your order is for real. This is holding up any announcement about whether or not we can move forward.

The chest doesn't look as bad in terms of being oversized as compared to the proto. I'm still not so hot on the shape of the bat on his chest though. I wish I knew why they changed it so drastically. It neither looks anything like the original figure or anything much like a bat. It's just a weird scalloped shape.

So verifying an order is harassing you? You do realize it's only for orders with large quantities. I doubt anyone ordering 2 or even 3 are getting called.

actualy... there was a ploy over on 4chan where they were trying to get people to place huge orders.. like 50-100 plus..

just to cancel them later in hopes of babkrupting mattel at release time.

i didnt pay much attention to it at the time, but now....

Apart from the fact that Mattel would probably sell all if not most of whatever they produced, whoever suggested that did realize that Mattel is a multi-billion dollar company, right? LOL
