I THOUGHT I was just pre-ordering the castle.... but then that got me to take a closer look at the figures. I haven't held one in hand, but online they look waaay better than the old ones I grew up with.

you can't till the next one goes up for sale in july for the 2014 Subscription...

2013 is locked,so your stuck ordering on day of sales...supposedly some figures will not be available day of sale

Just keep an eye on Mattycollector.com and see what sales come along. Generally the good stuff goes on sale on the 15th of every month. You do have to act fast though as these do sell out fast.

But right now you can go on Matty and my some great figures like Stratos, Faker, Clawful and Merman.
He-Man, Battle Cat, Skeletor and Panthor are available all year round.

You pay once a month and the amount varies depending on how many figures are coming out that month but there is always at least 2 figures a month. They charge you a few days to a week before the figure comes out but they email you first to give you fair warning.

For those that celebrate the holiday, I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. I know I did - it's always my favorite holiday of the year. I ended up not getting the guest reviews up that I had planned, but I have them both for you tonight.

First though, I'm covering the latest 30th Anniversary MOTUC figure, Castle Grayskullman. I really like him...he's the epitome of everything that makes the series great.

Then there's those two guest reviews, one from Jeff Parker on Lady Sham, and one from Shaun Hilmar, who is looking at the Marvel Select Avengers Hulk. You can find all the reviews at the usual:

Apparently for purchases above $100.00 you get a 15% discount... I guess DR didn't "think" about Castle Grayskull
It will be a mess to sort this out... but I'm sure it's bogus...

Oh man… looking at the page they mentioned "substantially higher shipping charges". Given how much they charge for normal single figure shipping I blanch at the thought of what the shipping with be on Greyskull. I didn't even think about that.
