Strongarm is 100% coming,but he won't be called Strongarm on the package,but renamed Strong-or because Hasbro owns the trademark

I am betting that we are getting two more Filmation reveals later on,perhaps a 4 figure Sub or two 2-packs....Icer/Batros and then containing Strongarm and maybe Masque or someone else.Shokoti is in the 2013 Sub as the final filmation character.

again,I still think the Battle Ram is coming,though another birdy gave a clue for something that I'd be very surprised to get..

That's good to hear Seems like mattel is really trying to
put the filmation license to heavy use in 2013. A battle ram also
sounds intriguing. I'm still hoping that the next Con reveals a
few new NA characters as well.

I haven't heard anything about 12" MOTUC figures. You'd think they'd be talking about it on he-man.org. I won't believe it 'til I see it.

Since Mattel has gone all out with a 100% tool for Mantenna, I'm really hoping Modulok is in the works. He's probably my most desired figure right now.

I could live without Modulok or Dragstor for that matter. With Mosquitor and now Mantenna all my Horde figure dreams have come true. Batros as well? Hell yeah. I complain (really, bee eye tee see atche is censored?) about how Mattel handles themselves publicly but I am very happy to have literally gotten every figure I would have wanted.

The only thing I really hope for now is the Horde Troopers but again, I think I'd be fine without them. I also wouldn't mind seeing some more Filmation Horde guys and girls before the line ends. I had kinda hoped for Scorpia before Octavia.

Weirdly, I always thought MOTU fans were immune to dumb names at this point.
I mean, I love the line but half the names are pretty silly. Which is actually one of the things I enjoy.

I'm surprised the castle isn't a bit bigger myself but it seems they went for the vintage figure to castle scale. I think we were all dreaming on the specs that were being discussed.

You misunderstand. I'm not complaining in the least. I acknowledged that MOST characters have dumb names. some more than others. ( Big beefy Bear of a guy, with a metal hand, named "Fisto". Really? No homoerotic overtones there, we swear! ) but at most, they get a grimace, a "heh" or an eye-roll.
This one had me really going.

First and foremost this property was initially for children and for it being a children's property it has some pretty cool/clever character names compared to **** out for kids nowadays.

I never can stand the new age geek criticism/hate for the much cooler stuff most of us 80's kids cherished.

No hate. and I get the original marketing. the names were intended to be evocative of the character, and easy to remeber. it's no different than walrus-man, hammer head, or snaggle-tooth in Star wars.

Even so, it doesn't make the names any less silly, or humorous.

there is no doubt that the best toys to ever be made came from the
80's (there will be no decade like it), which is why your seeing all this stuff coming back and in better form

most of today's toys suck,but kids today don't really care when they have video games to play

Well, Matty finally took all the pictures down... now that half of the internet got them in their hard drives...

I've always been first and foremost a fan of the mini-comics and vintage figures first... But all the concept/prototype characters, NA and SOME of the 30th anniversary figures have really turned into some of my favorites over time.

While I like the Filmation Cartoon, I always felt, even as a kid that some of the characters were very silly. BUT there are a few characters that "classizied" would look kick-***... and the prime example is Shokoti, Icer and Batros... these 2 kick so much *** it's not even funny!!

Curious to see more Filmation characters!

I like them all, actually - but I had to forgo the sub this year. I'd like to end up trading for them if I can, but I'm over the whole "gotta get 'em now" rush.

I would like to get Ram Man sooner than later, though.

Are these others all Filmation characters, then? Aside from NA-Man, I mean.

I prefer some of those names to the overly contrived "alien sounding" names they're getting now, to be quite honest. It's like if Luke saw them in the cantina, didn't know what they were, so that's what he called them, you know?

I'm actually a bit more taken aback by names like "Mon Calamari" and "Klaatu/Barada/Nikto", to be quite honest. They always take me out of the moment.

And that stupid Wilhelm scream.
