Most of the others are Filmation and vintage, though Manatena seems to have some 200x/ staxion influence there. REALLLY liking it.

I'm long since past the " pokemon" mentality with these, but i still sub so i don't have to deal with the day of sales BS.

Well, Matty finally took all the pictures down... now that half of the internet got them in their hard drives...

I've always been first and foremost a fan of the mini-comics and vintage figures first... But all the concept/prototype characters, NA and SOME of the 30th anniversary figures have really turned into some of my favorites over time.

While I like the Filmation Cartoon, I always felt, even as a kid that some of the characters were very silly. BUT there are a few characters that "classizied" would look kick-***... and the prime example is Shokoti, Icer and Batros... these 2 kick so much *** it's not even funny!!

Curious to see more Filmation characters!

BTW, WTF is going on with the .org server?
I cleared my cache, history and even re-installed browser and no luck...

I think the site is having issues...I get the same thing..

There is no denying that the sculpting/paint job on this playset will be top notch, just should've been bigger.

Oh, I agree, but it's just gotten a bit contrived when it comes to SW. (e.g. Count Dooku, for f's sake... Shmi?) And the ones like Mon Calamari and what not just put me off because they're just obvious jokes.

Thus far, I like the MOTUC names, though. They just work for me, for some reason.

I doubt that, the success of the line has never been based and never will be based on how well Castle Grayskull turns out, no way...i don't believe that.

If Mattel holds the gun at their head again and claims that the sales of the castle will determine whether there will be a 2014 sub or not would be utter BS.

Batros has no association with She-ra at all- a good thing!!

The sales of the Castle are already good enough. They weren't going to move forward with sculpting it until they hit their minimum presale target.

Yea thats right, what i was really getting at was, i think fans are really not that stupid surely to stop collecting figures in the line they love over some type of QC error with a mostly static playset.

Look how well the line has done all these years without a single promise a castle would be made, even though you could argue that we never had most of the core characters from the main vintage line at the time and were anxiously anticipating them.

Probably... the episode with Batros aired in 84 and She-Ra started until 85...
but as Teemu said, it's NOT the Horde symbol... but maybe it inspired it
