They are going to have a separate booth this year for exclusives,
the main Mattel booth will only be for product showcase...
I'm also curious to see how things are going to work this time around...
Getting exclusives at Cons is the thing that I hate the most...
All of them should learn from Sideshow...

Really? I wonder if it will still be a pain to get them? I guess we shall see.

A friend of mine went to SDCC last year and he waited in line for 3 hours on the first day King Grayskull was available. He then went back on Saturday and was able to walk up to the booth and buy them at his leisure. He was told by Mattel reps that's how it usually is. So, people should have no trouble getting them that are attending.

He's going back this year and i'm having him pick up a He-Ro and a Wonder Twins set. Great year for exclusives!

The only other Masters reference on Family Guy is when Brian goes on the Bachelorette and won't ride the tiny horse, then Adam come out and transforms into He-Man and makes the horse Battle Cat. Good stuff.

Another Mer-Man pic, he's found a new friend...

I wonder if Zodac will be as big of a sellout this week. I doubt it, because he really is not that popular of a character.

On the contrary Scott, I think Zodak will be quite popular with the "He-Dorks". He is essentially the Watcher (who kind of takes a side) of the MOTUniverse. He isn't as aesthetically pleasing as say Mer-Man or Trap Jaw but he'll be a hit. Now when they pull a Meteorb out as a figure of the month then I think it won't be as big of a hit.

i missed all these later ones... and maybe that's a good thing.

Although I just wiki'd it, and it says it ran from 1983-1985, where I was 8-10, and it's only 2 (or 3) years of episodes, so maybe I moved on to GI Joe by then.

Oh yeah, Trap Jaw was my favorite bad guy, can't wait to see him. And I want to see a good Orko put out too.

Meteorbs? Ugh... But I would however love the rock warriors Stonedar and Rokkon!!! :rock

I had thought Rokkon and Stonedar were cool, because they could transform just like the Transformers. Now they just seem kinda crappy IMHO when I think back on them.

I have one of those somewhere I think at my mothers house, I'll have to break it out again! :rock

In an upcoming toyfare article, its saying the september figure is

WEBSTOR

Mattel is going to re-use parts as much as they can till they start making new parts for more characters....Webstor is basically a straight re-use of skeletors body, but different head/armor...I am sure he'll look cool though

I wonder if he'll have Spider-like appendages like the Staction....

I was wondering the same thing. I'm hoping so.

Although they would have to be removable for the people who hate the 200X line look and just want the new figures to use the old look for every detail.
