Who's on first? I say subscribe and order extra for the months that you want extras of. If that makes sense. I am usually good for two a month.

well there are concerns over figures being available after, to those who subscribed...meaning, the subscriptions could make it a sell out before it even goes up for sale on the 15th......so yes, if you want the figures, your being forced into a subscription....but to those who want EVERY figure sight unseen, GO FOR IT!

Mattel has already stated that there is no guarantee you'll get your figure when attempting ordering on the 15th! that says alot!!

If one really needs a figure "that bad", then get the subscription and trade or sell what you don't want. The whole reason to subscribe is to guarantee your purchase of the figures, so it comes with the territory to play a game of chance when you wait to order on the 15th. Seriously, a full years subscription of these is less than or comparable to one SS PF. We're starting to sound like the whiners at He-man.org now, and that is very sad.

yeah, there's some big cry babys on that site.. i can only read so many posts a day there then i bounce! :0

I would be curious to know the average age of the he-man.org forums. And no, not because they are whiny, but because they seem to heavily favor the 2002 He-man.

I'm almost 40, a member of the he-man.org forums and I prefer the 2002 designs (except for He-man).

That's gotta be in the mid twenties and below, the thirties+ would be us classic folks!

I gotta admit that the 200x cartoon series are pretty cool to watch. I was just never into that line at all..

There's questions, then there's complaints. Read your posts again my friend and you will know what your doing. Now if you want to question...send comments to Matty or right a petition and have us sign it. If it's productively written, I'll be one of the first to sign it for sure.

He-man.org began when the 2002 reboot figures were being released, so many of them favor the '02 line.

I just picked up my Mer-mans......... or Mer-men to use proper grammar, from the post office this morning. I'll crack them out of the box soon and post some more pics.

Ah, that does make sense. I know there are older people who prefer the 2002 and I am sure there are younger ones who prefer the 80's line too.

You know, when I started collecting again, it was due to the 2002 MOTU line. Since then I've started collecting high-end stuff, i. e. Sideshow, Hot Toys, Medicom, Enterbay, etc., but I've become disenchanted with the '02 MOTU. Now the MOTUC line IMHO is amazing, it's definitely one of my all time favorite collections and I'd put it head and shoulders above the 2002 line.

Wrong,
I'm pretty sure it started before that, 1999 or so,
And people over there are split between 200x and Original MOTU...
I actually like them both!
The 200x cartoon is of course way better than the original too,
the design of the characters is great, but the Classics toys are amazing.!

And every fan forum has plenty of whiney members,
didn't you read some comments here about HT DK inaccuracy?
or at the Indiana Jones forum?...
:lol:lol

For the Lazy. robbed from he-man org.

In 1995 Adam Tyner started one of the first MOTU sites on the internet. Originally sparse in content, Adam plugged away at it until it became the largest fan resource for MOTU, equipped with toy and cartoon info as well as a board for fans to interact

In 1996, Matt R. set out with his own idea. Matt wanted a comprehensive guide for MOTU filled with tons of images and detailed information about MOTU, especially about the toys, books, and comics.

This guide was originally a stand-alone program fans could download for use on their computer. But, Matt eventually found it was easier to maintain and access if he had the content online, so he created his own website.

During this time, Jason Moore had setup He-Man.org. His idea was to have a complete resource for all MOTU fans online. After realizing he did not have the time to complete this task, he invited Matt and Adam to host their sites, the two largest on the internet, on He-Man.org.

Eventually, Matt and Adam decided to join their efforts and create the ultimate Masters of the Universe resource. And after a year of dedicated effort, the two sites merged forming our very own He-Man.org.

Debuting as a comprehensive masterpiece in 1999, He-Man.org has continued to grow beyond the capacity of anyone's imagination. Known world-wide as the #1 resource for MOTU, the site has become a daily stop for fans and creators alike.

Although they have moved on, their vision continues to grow every day. We will always be thankful for their efforts. Without them, we wouldn't have the resource we have today. They truly are Masters of
the Universe...

back on topic.......:naughty

Edit: shortened it up

Thank you sir,

I'd heard about He-man.org in 2002 and that's when I assumed they had started. Some other folks got it wrong and they actually looked the info up.:lol

I find myself going to heman.org everyday. But like people have stated, they are a fickle bunch. I really should register and become part of the community. I do not know why they require a non-web based email address.

It really doesn't look like a fun forum to me, and I would fear being moderated to death. But it is the best place to get your Motu news. I do not mean to offend any Orgers. Sideshow forum is decently moderated, but at least they allow some fun. For now, I will just troll it. It is annoying that I cannot see some pics though, so I will register one day:angelsmil

A couple shot of Mer-man. This is a great figure and I think the other heads make the figure look so much different.
