I feel the same way about Shadow Weaver. I actually don't even like the figure itself all too much but I see that hole in my Horde guys anytime I look at them.

I feel the same way about Shadow Weaver.

I'm in the same boat as you guys with regard to the Sorceress. That's why I bought Ram Man from a scalper right after he sold out so I can soften the blow of Sorceress on ebay. Maybe another figure will allow you guys to do that for Ram Man or Shadow Weaver.

Yeah like I said not a huge fan of the figure itself but I still feel like I need it for my Horde display. Makes it suck even more that it goes for over $100 on eBay. I feel like it should be one of those figures that goes for less than retail.

I pretty much never buy anything for more than it cost retail.

I don't think that currently they need updates... maybe a few tweaks but this line is perfect right now...
In 20 years, I'd love to see new MOTU figures...

I guess I agree. I was just thinking of a way that they could still let the secondary market have something unique and yet allow for people to start collecting in the future and not feel they missed the party.

I don't know what they can do to improve figures like He-Man or Mer-Man... they are about as perfect as they can be IMO...

give he-man a one piece head like fisto or bow and NA heman oh and close his mouth

Didn't know Matty is supposedly done with re-releases. But, I do wonder if it isn't a lie, and if they plan on re-releasing the figures well down the road once enough demand has built up, Disney style. After reading about all they did with those BTTF 2 hoverboards I would take anything those guys say with a grain of salt.

Would you mind posting the choices? I didn't order so I can't vote but I'm curious as to who might appear.

Out of the 370 choices (sorry Khev, just too many to list and about half of them were very obscure characters [basically any character in the MOTU canon you can think of and more]), I voted for:

So long as they're done by the four horsemen and cartoon accurate. I love that cartoon. It's a shame it didn't last too long. It was great and still holds up really well.

i'd say Inhumanoids and M.A.S.k, Visionaries and king arthur and the knights of justice. would make awesome figures and im sure matty will make them epic. D&D had bad hero looks for the heroes no offense.

You don't think that in the next 20 years anyone will make a better one? There's always a way to do things differently, and usually better. It would be an artistic challenge to try and move them up a notch.

In any case, if the majority of the core characters are allowed to stay out of print and get scarcer and scarcer, then the line has to die eventually. New collectors need to be able to get theirs too or there won't be new collectors.

I wouldn't bank on another MOTU line, but you never know.

Heck, when POTF2 came out, people probably thought they'd never get better SW figures, lol. Look how that turned out.

One thing that could be improved is the articulation, though. Not saying it isn't great as is, but it could get a lot better.
