Eagerly looking forward to Hordak. Going to order 2. one for me, and one for a friend.
Do we really think he'll be that hard to get, or just a pain?

I think its going to be a pain to order, but if you there trying within the hr, I think you'll be ok...I figured out a different stragedy (for myself) to ordering with this new red page refresh....I'll just make sure I am logged in before the chaos begins and be on the hordak page that way I wont be behind on the refresh (I did that method before, but the red page freaked me out and I clicked out of it, this time, I stay on it)

Yea, it is random which one you get. I'm hoping for a green or red. The purple just seems off. Oh, well, i'll be happy to get a figure. Have a friend picking me up He-Ro and other exclusives (like the Dollhouse exclusive DVD!) at SDCC.

The manager of my LCS is picking one up for me and I'll be ordering He-ro at Matty too, so hopefully I'll get two different colored spell stones.

Cool... So what's more desirable? A He-ro with a SDCC, or one without?

I'm thinking without, personally...

Unless you're a MOC collector or are going to display him without his armor, the non-SDCC figure is probably the one to go with.

i thought they said the SDCC version would have a unique stone color?:( don't think i want one with the logo. seems lame. i hope he doesn't sell out too fast cuz i dont think i'll be around August 3rd.

You guys are right. I'll tell my LCS not to bother. Having the SDCC logo across his chest seems more of a detractor to me than a reason to get it. Since the different spell stones are available with each purchase, I can live without the SDCC version.

LOL this is GREAT

Old, but GREAT :)

I both love, and hate stupid at the same time.

I fell over laughing at 2:54

There is alot of truth in this video if you study the involvement with the occult....to laugh at it is one thing, but to refute it is another...I agree with what these guys are talking about because I study this subject and as a christian and believer in God....God expresses highly against sorcery and witchcraft....while MOTU may not affect you personally, but there are many (children especially) that are influenced by these forms of entertainments

the influence is there, I'll agree, but that's just good chracter design. At the end of the day, It's a cartoon, and they're toys.
Mattel was not trying to sway people to the belief of one faith or another, they were trying to sell toys . To try and claim otherwise 9 like the video does) is foolish, and it makes the speaker seem foolish.
As a practicing Pagan, Yes, i see alot of occult references throughout the toys, and the show as well.
As A practising game and character designer, you draw on these things like mattel did to evoke a deep, ingrained response. We associate these things as we do, becuase human culture has associated these shapes and ideas for as far as we can remember. Tolkien did it with his books as well, and so did CS Lewis.

but at the end of the day, it's only about making you do one thing.
Buy toys :lol
