"Spade" was the slang for a brutha in the 70's in the UK and Ireland. Those of you who have seen Withnail and I (which i am guessing few if any of you have) would be familiar with it. I've never heard it used for black supremacy and/or sexual domination.

The spade is a symbol of nobility, military, a sword, a spear head, a leaf or your own intellect, depending on the era and the nationality.

I saw it. It certainly was a... different movie.

I always figured Scott likes to play a little poker, that's all. Like others said, random crap he liked thrown together... I'm glad I sold mine.

Seems a bit petty blaming people for bailing out after they significantly cut the size of the Castle and made the dungeon into a sticker. I mean, it's still an awesome Castle, but Matty over-promised and under delivered.

It also doesn't help that they've got it for $300 on their site plus Matty inflated shipping. You can get it cheaper on ebay.

seems like you can get most current figures on ebay for less than Matty.....Unless Mattel forces the 2015 Sub on their own,there is no way we're getting a full year in 2015....If you read the He-man forums,there is ALOT of folks not subbing after this year or their cutting back their extra sub purchases.

There really isn't anyone left to carry '15 as MUST HAVE or worth subbing a full year for...It doesn't help that Toyguru basically has said Buzzsaw Hordak is one of the variants in 2015

Interesting answer on Castle Grayskull's...sounds like many fans pre-ordered and then bailed though it helped getting the Castle made,but of course Snake Mountain will never happen

Who knows what the future will bring but their is defiantly no full playset (ie Snake Mt) in 2015. We will start planning 2016 after Sdcc, if a SM was coming it would already need to be in the works. (And it is not)

Essentially Grayskull DOUBLED the work load of all involved and it did not double the revenue (or the teams salaries!). They team made Grayskull out of pure love, but it is hard to ask the hard working team to do that again (double their work load).

Additionally, a large chunk of presale customers who "committed" to purchasing a castle never did (which is why it is still on sale). We simply can't take that inventory risk again when so many fans did not hold up their end of the presale bargin. If they had, SM would be a lot more realistic. Unfortunately, too many presale customers never came through despite numerious emails and phone calls to update their payment info.

If presale customers who have still not claimed their castle will please contact CS and complete their purchase, we will honor the original sale price of 250.00. If all these
Customers can come forward and claim/pay for their castle we can start looking into the possibility of a Snake Mountain! We sure would love to.

It is up to you presale customers! Claim your castle and help make snake mountain a possibility!

Yeah, more carrots on a stick. Part of the problem with Grayskull was reducing the projected size by some 4+ inches. i'm kind of glad because it gives me an extra reason not to care when 2015 flops like a dead fish.

Plus the whole situation where people's card were declined for no reason and it took MULTIPLE phone calls to get it fixed. Most people just gave up after that or it gave them a chance to bail.

I believe Mattel gave customers until that August to cancel their pre-orders due to changes that were made to Grayskull. That was a nice gesture but it gave everyone an opportunity to get out even if it was for some other reason. I expect that has something to do with Grayskull still sitting in their warehouse.

Also, before they fixed the cart system on Matty you could check the inventory levels and there were something like over 1,000 Grayskulls when the remaining stock went up for sale. I can't believe there that many cancellations and I wonder if Mattel overestimated demand for day of sale stock, especially at the inflated prices.

at this point it seems focus is on figures ONLY....So no Slime Pit ever and you can forget Battle Ram

Bit behind the times but my Scorpia and Octavia arrived today. Both are great figures, especially Scorpia which is one of my favourite females in the entire line!

Also I'm one of those flip-floppers who changed their mind about the castle, although I actually went to the trouble of cancelling my order after SDCC. At this point I'm ok with the prospect of no vehicles as I'm running low on space. Would be all over a Mantisaur though

I had Tyrantisaurus as a kid and had NO IDEA as a kit it was from MOTU. I just thought it was a cool purple robot T-Rex. I only found out fairly recently it was from MOTU.
