Wait, so this was your "source" that snake mountain was coming? I'm not sure you could call reading a published book as a source. Also, it's an art book. They included the art the designed for a possible SM. This book is no indication it's coming in 2016 because the book itself was put together before 2015 was even sold and set. If it comes it comes. I'd buy it. But I'm not holding my breath because it's in an art book.

I think people are just wondering how you know that for sure... I also think it's coming based on the clues we've been given from the 4H, but it's not in stone until we get official word from Mattel. The usual suspects that claim to know what's coming have been silent this year, probably because Mattel threatened those "in the know" to keep tight lipped about what's coming or else. In the past there were many leaks, and Mattel wasn't too happy about it.
I've learned not to question people who claim to know what's coming because I know I'll NEVER get a straight answer, or it will be the usual "sworn to secrecy" jive. LOL! If Snake Mountain is coming great! If not, whatever.

There's been no official word from Mattel (outside of hints, like you said), but a very reliable source that posts on other forums has said that Snake Mountain is coming (and this was before Mattel started dropping hints). Nothing better at this point, the only other details are that it will resemble the Icon Heroes statue and it will likely require a $100 or so deposit on the preorder.

They have the MOTU license now, hints at a couple of castles (Castle Greyskull playset),the line will have playsets and vehicles !
(Castle Greyskull and Snake Mountain are currently being developed)
Desire for Battle Cat to be mountable so He-man can ride him.
So far for wave 1- Skeletor,He-Man,Tri-klops (usually a blind box wave case consists of about 10 new characters with a chase or two)

I have a couple of the Loyal Subjects TMNT and they are neat but pretty expensive. I may order a case depending on the character selection and price. I hate not getting a complete set. I think blind bag/box is ok on $3 LEGO minifigures but I'm not crazy about it on $12 vinyl action figures.
I have the TMNT vinyls and they are great! wave 2 is coming with rock steady,bebop,leatherhead,slash...they also are going full steam with classic GI Joe with new action articulation...Can't wait for these and classic MOTU

I got the Special Edition book from Canada, a lot cheaper. I'll pass on those vinyls... I'd rather have the minis...
The Vinyls put the Mattel mini's to shame...8-12 points articulation,weapons etc...(Mattel mini's 3 points of articulation)....The Loyal Subjects are doing major right with these.Plus Mattel mini's are history anyway.The Loyal Subjects intend to release all the vintage characters,do playsets and vehicles...
The classic TMNT and Power Rangers Action vinyls have been a great success and they are re-doing GI Joe series 1,Wave 2 coming in Oct.MOTU in Oct.TMNT series 2 Oct....
Doesn't matter to me, the designs are quite generic, the Minis had a unique creative design that appealed to me...

I will probably buy a case of the LS action vinyls if I can get a full set in there with little or no extras. I don't like the idea of blind-boxed figures at $10-12 bucks a pop. The rare chase figures are typically repaints which I'm ok with missing out on.
