The mist effect is achieved by holding some sort of semi-transparent or greasy film over the lens. Creates some cool effects.

Everything gets chucked. I would have liked to have kept Grayskull's box, I guess, but too much clutter.

I buy toys for the toys, not the blister or the box. That stuff goes in the trash. However, I still have my CG box laying around, mainly because I'm too lazy to break it down for my town cardboard pick up day. LOL!

Agreed. I hate keeping boxes. They should have included a code to download digital copies of the art, like wallpapers and such. And it would have been cool if the figures came with actual cards, with character bios and such, kinda like the cards they made in the 80s. topps_1_full.jpg

I collect sh figuarts as well, and I do keep those boxes, simply because the figures come with many replacable faces, hands and blast fx. I don't have the heart to just toss all those accesories in a pencil box, not for the money figuarts go for.

Power-Con returns next year!! Wohoooo!!! :rock
And back in LA, trying to move it to NY was a bad idea, but I'm glad it's back!!

"Power-Con Returns in 2016!"

Power-Con, the He-Man and She-Ra fan convention, is set to return to Los Angeles in the Spring of 2016! While we cannot reveal all of the secrets of the universe just yet, we can let you know that more exciting details about the show will be announced during Mattel’s Mattypalooza Panel at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con. Power-Con 2016 will focus on the core properties of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe and She-Ra Princess of Power. The convention will feature guests who worked on various aspects of He-Man and She-Ra, fan programming, exhibitors, and more! So is that suggesting Powercon is becoming an official He-Man convention now or something? Is there any other reason why details about it be announced during an official Mattel panel at SDCC?

Probably. He-Man.org is the official He-Man/MOTU fan site endorsed by Mattel, I'm sure Val is pushing for PowerCon to also be the official Mattel approved fan convention. Why else would he eliminate all the other properties like Thundercats, etc?

Other than the Grayskull, Granamyr and Wind Raider boxes, I just keep card backs. Everything else just takes up too much room. I've just kept a few mailer boxes and keep my card backs in there.

It'd be for the best if it was being supported by Mattel in some fashion. Just to make it more financially viable. I think that's what Hasbro does with BotCon?

Another announcement: Super7 is doing M.U.S.C.L.E. style figures for MOTU!

They'll be at SDCC. Hopefully they'll get a wider release.

M.U.S.C.L.E! LOL!

At least Super7 is consistent. *shakes head*

Wasn't M.U.S.C.L.E originally a Mattel property?

Yeeeee. I might have to check this out. Have you gone in the past?

It's really awesome!
I've been to all 3 previous ones and it's great!!

Those are kind of cool, if they are somewhat easy to get, I'll try and score them!

Hey, guys. I'm looking for motuc Hordak, Mer-Man, Roboto, or Stinkor. Anybody looking to sell? I'm possibly interested in others as well.
