Speaking of busts, I found this statue on deviant art a few days ago. he_man_2_by_edgepang-d5enxfw.jpghe_man_12_by_edgepang-d5f488x.jpgw/ optional axe and cape.

Totally. Looks great. Sometimes these types of things can be over-designed. This seems just right to me.

I gotta say, the original He-Man head from 1982 is pretty damn detailed for it's time. That's one of the things I always liked about him. I can't think of any other figure in the entire vintage line that has his level of detail (on the head/face).

Definitely. And it's actually way more detailed than a lot of Classics heads too

Anyone excited about Rotar and Twistoid?

Wow I don't even remember these characters. Spinning top action!

That's what I loved about the vintage line, the action features were some of the best of any classic toy line. Usually I didn't like action in my figures because it inhibited articulation but motu is one of the few lines where I felt action just made the characters more dynamic.

What was your favorite action feature on the vintage line? Mine would have to be Saurod's sparking mouth or Fisto's swivel waist punch.

I'm glad to finally get two more additions to the vintage style figures, but I must admit I'm not too happy about the choice of legs or the lack of metal chain for that red axe. It's just more cost cutting when an adult collector line deserves better.

Also sucks for those MOC collectors since the names of the characters or swapped on the packaging. LOL!

I think it was probably the battle damage effect on the Battle Armor He-Man and Skeletor variants

Mattel put out a line of die cast cars with the same feature, I remember thinking those were great too

Yes he is!! And Stinkor too!!

I loved Stinkor. He drove my mom mad, probably one of the big reasons I loved him. He legitimately smelled awful. I'm assumimg the 200x series didn't have the smell since some of the younger fans just don't get how awesome that stinky bastard was. How many toys actually stunk? I hear the classics Stinkor is even smellier than the vintage. Fingers crossed. That smell is ingrained into my brain for all time.

Unfortunately Classics Stinkor is less stinky than the original (either that or my sense of smell is going, which is possible). I do "recharge" his smell from time to time with some patchouli oil extract.

Got Moss Man today! Boy he is a beauty! So much more impressive in person. I can't bring myself to take him out of the box yet.

All three go really well together. Who couldn't be friends with moss man? He's so soft and smells of christmas trees. Great pic btw! Were you going for a mist effect? It works well.

Edit: I took moss man out of his package. Mattel thought blister packaging was a good idea unfortunately. Once out of his plastic prison he did not disappoint. His joints are so tight. His articulation is better than I thought it would be. And his flocking looks superb. This one is gonna be hard to top. Got modulok and stratos coming friday or saturday. Ordering hordak this weekend.
