I already know the answer to that Sevreed but I will still ask. :)

If you know the answer but are still asking that probably means no, right? Or at least not at this time.

I just saw another tease for Mondo's versions. They might be awesome but I love what Sideshow did with their new statues so I was hoping they might do figures based off of those. Either way, it will all come down to how well done the muscular bodies are made.

Post your questions (about high-end stuff only please) here. :)

How deep into the character roster are they planning to go? Or are they just waiting to see how well He-Man & Skeletor sell before they plan further ahead?

I have done that myself and also dremeled the feet, which was a pain but well worth the work. As for the backpack I went with the 200x minibust. I plan on doing the other 200x variants of Stratos sooner or later too. :)

Oh that's a great idea, the mini-bust. I painted my motuc Stratos' backpack and I'm pretty happy with the result, painted the blue straps to mimic brown leather and did some silver dry-brushing with some other paint apps on the pack itself. Also gonna dremel the 200x feet too. My old dremel is dying fast so I ordered a new one that should be here Saturday. Excite.

Do you think the mini-bust's head would fit appropriately (size-wise) on the motuc Stratos' body with some dremeling?

And that's the way to do it!
Honestly I don't like SS He-Man... and there's certain things of Skeletor I like, but still...
Keep it simple!!

Its the only way it should be done. Fully articulated 1/6 Filmation style MOtU figures? Yes please.
ThreeZero would have earned my money for the TMnT line had they been 80's/90's movie style, not the new gen trash.

We are living in one of the most nostalgic eras right now. There are no needs to reimagine characters. Stick to the source material and watch the cash flow in.

The sideshow statues are a perfect example of what an adult collectible should be. Not my thing, but they look to have premium quality. Especially Skeletor.

Post your questions (about high-end stuff only please) here. :)

1.) Is He-Mans skull on the shoulder removable? It looks nice but its clearly not for everyone and the most discussed piece of the statue.

2.) There is a roumor about alternative heads. If this is indeed true will they be based on amy familiar design (Vintage/200x/DC etc)?

3.) Any chance for a more classic looking sword as Excl?

4.) Most projects usually start woth the common Vintage-8-back character lf the first line. Whos next?!

5.) Any plans on Beast Man yet? There has not been one with real fur yet... Any chance SSC will change that?

6.) Any chance SSC can add some artworks the way PCS does? They are a great addition.

Use the Classic head. All 200X heads are simply too small.

Do you also plan to add the 200X wings and gauntlets?

Personally I did not like the 200X backpack as it was too toyish looking. The one from the minibust has a better sculpt in my eyes. I have simply added it to the MOTUC armor. Its a little heavy but otherwise nice looking.

You may also go the extra route and add some Beast Man hands and Icarius lower leg to complete the 200x look. At least thats what I plan to...

I'm going to use the 200x hands as alternates for holding weapons. I have an alternate head I'm working on right now using the helmet from the classics head and the lower half of a custom monkey man head and joining them together. I dremeling the 200x gauntlets today to fit on the classics forearms, so I'll see how I like the look. If I do, I'll repaint them accordingly. I may use his classics wings (which I've already repainted) as his casual look and the 200x wings as his battle look. The only thing I don't like about the 200x wings is that they don't really stay on the gauntlets very well.

I agree, the 200x backpack is a piece of ****. The entire toy is shoddy; it literally broke apart in my hands as I was messing with it. The classics backpack with my custom paint apps is good enough for me.

Do you have any pics of your custom Stratos? I'd be interested to see how the mini-bust backpack looks.

Unfortunatly I do not have any pics and the collection is already packed up. I am building up a new collection room with scratch build cabinets. Its a pretty hughe project so most of my stuff is packed away for the next months. :(

This is the custom I too insperation of.
MOTUC: 200X Stratos Version 2
Good call on the hands. I believe I did the same but cannot exactly remember. Basically my Stratos differs only with the backpack and the Icarius lower legs. :)

Yes that's the one I was looking at as well. Not sure if I'm gonna swap the lower legs though. Maybe if I happen to come across some as I customize but I don't see myself buying the Mighty Spector just for the trap jaw legs. But Icarus is a good idea. I kinda like the leg rockets the 200x figure came with. I've been thinking of ways to utlize those in some way.

Got my Peekablue the other day, I like her. Very vibrant.

I guess it's pretty much Perfuma next and that will wrap up the vintage POP figures, minus a few She-Ra and Catra Variants.

I wonder if Catra will get her horse, or maybe Clawdeen in the future.

Hey guys, I subbed quarterly to the 200x sub earlier this year. Now I checked my subscription by logging in to mattycollector but I don't see anything. It's completely empty. Does quarterly subs get charged after the 3rd month each quarter? When will my sub go live on matty? Just afraid digitalriver messed up and lost my sub.

Appreciate the answers. Thanks in advance!

September your subs will ship...then December

I'm really looking forward to the 200X figures, I ordered monthly, but DR hasn't sent me any notice on my Callix figure.

I had hoped he would have arrived with my disappointing Peekablue figure.

Since this is the first month for the 200x sub, it will ship separately. The shipping for Callix was a few days behind Peekablue, but you should have gotten a shipping notice by now. I received mine on Saturday and he is really a great figure.
