I'd love to cancel my sub at the beginning of December, so I don't get stuck with Dare.

Yeah, I'd like to not get stuck with an extra two He-Mans and two Skeletors and another Hordak. I don't know why they laid out the line in such a way that there would be 5 variants right at the end of the line.

I like Dare though and he turned out cooler than I thought and I want him to go with King He-Man.

Yeah, they could have spread them out a bit. They did promise all of the vintage figures, which I'm actually surprised they have stuck with thus far. I have no problem with Dare existing, but we were also told he wouldn't be in the 2015 sub lineup.

Oh man, I've seen people "threatening" to cancel their subs over and over again, since they first started the system years ago only to see them come back or not canceling at all. Just do it and move along...

Personally, I condone people canceling. If Matty can do what they recently pulled, then there should be no reason why subbers shouldn't be allowed to pull the same stunt.

I think there should be a certain allotment allowing people to actually cancel/join the subscription at any time, but I don't think that's going to happen with Digital River.

I got my Callix on monday and I am in UK. How the hell did that happen?

He's defo one of my favs in a while. Proper cool he is. You could easily do a whole faction of stone warriors using the same method with different types of rock, lava etc.

That was my thinking. In the photo, it looks incredible. But I feel like it might actually be hollow plastic poop covered in a coat of silver paint.

For 30 you will be lucky if you dont have to blow it up to full size.

The weight is listed at just over 1 lb, so you may be right.

It will be one of the hollow thin wall (rotocast) swords they make for Halloween. They are actually not bad. It's not perfect or anything. But they really are nice for what they are. They did snake eyes and storm shadow and Conan. All look alright. These will go with their motu costumes.

They do have a blow up one. But it's a seperate item. They also have the she-ra sword.

Yeah, that sword probably wont be painted at all. I'd guess it's cast in a silver plastic, maybe metallic plastic. I picked one up though knowing I may have to customize it a bit. I'd probably hit it with a few coats of that CHROME spray paint, which has pretty nice results. Then I might antique it with a wash.

I would really love it if they made a He-Man shield.

Regarding the snake torso:

"I absolutely had it costed in. Or if costs changed over the ten months I left the team could have broken the torso into 5 parts and released it as a collect and connect over the last five monthly figs.

The bottom line is the new team forgot about the torso. The fact that it was not shown at Sdcc is proof (especially when they showed product through 2016). This kitbash offering is a last min quick fix idea that fails to fulfill the subscription promise.

I was going to stay out of this, but with the new team choosing to throw me under the bus again and blame me for making a promise without proper costing, well I say shanagans to that. I ran the line for 7 years and never made a promise like that which couldn't be fulfilled. My record stands.

I understand taking over after I left was 't a cake walk, but blaming me is out of order. I can see how it was easy to forget about the torso promise. They had a lot going on. If this swim suit king hiss was always in the plans, why not just show it at Sdcc? The new team has the wheel now. It is their
Ship. It's been ten months.
You can't blame me any more for your mistakes and inadequate solitons.

The transparent thing to do when fans asked about the torso as Sdcc would be to admit they accidently forgot about it. Blaming me, uncalled for.

I 100% get how they could forget. They have A LOT going on and a lot of running Matty was in my head. So I would give them slack here. But that still doesn't make this my fault.

My assumption would be they didn't forget anything, and knew exactly what they were going to do with the torso months ago. Even Brandon said they have something "Special" planned for the torso. That doesn't sound like it was forgotten to me.

I think your right....the fact Brandon said they had something special planned for it means they had it planned all along...Secondly, here Scott admits the torso was costed in which means Mattel should HONOR what was promised by giving every subscriber a polybagged Snake Torso- PERIOD!

Or at least include the torso with another in sub figure as originally planned. That is why a simple switcharoo with "Hsss Unleashed" and Dare (or even BS Hordak) would be the ideal solution. Ideal solution for customers that is, not Mattel. But who cares about the customers? LOL!

Did the new team at any point mention Toyguru? I honestly haven't been paying much attention to the whole thing but I don't think I saw any statements from them indicting him? I could very well be wrong but if I am I wouldn't mind seeing a quote.

It seems more like Scott is attempting to throw the new people under the bus rather than the other way around. Again I have only read the official press release on the subject so if something was said about Scott I must have missed it.
