Oh man...
Its' back...

I have Power Con parcel on the way with all the exclusive stuff minus the Mythic Legion Orc which sold out in under an hours sadly.

For those who have the regular Granmyr, will you guys have him on display? I am one of this that tends to leave variants in box like jelly belly hordak and minty grayscale.

I still have red Granamyr in the box, so I'll have to decide which one to display when my green one arrives later this week. I've always favored the mini comics so perhaps that's the one I'll go with.

Well this is what I was thinking too. But once you assemble it, you cannot put it back into box.

There is really no good reason in my eyes to keep Granamyr in box. I will display hin next to the red one.

ML Orb at PowerCon?

I have decided to add the build a raptor sets to my beasts of the mesozoic pledge amd paint them in Zoar and Screech colourscheme. :rock

Answer number 1 definitely sheds a bit of light on the future of the line. However, the rest are pretty much NON answers as always, using the traditional stock answer, empty promises formula. It should be interesting to see what they have planned for 2017, which raises the question... Will they be revealing anything at SDCC and soon after, selling subs for 2017? It wouldn't make sense to wait until the 4th quarter to start a sales drive for 2017.

As you may have already read, unfortunatly Kuzeh got fooled by the poor .org history. :lol
The interview has been published 3 months ago.

However SDCC is only 5 weeks away. Pretty sure, that we will get some information how the line will continue in 2017. I dont believe anything of the talk that has been posted lately. This thread is another valuable reason for my thesis: Why would Mattel complain about "us" if the line was already dead. They wouldnt waste any costs for someone monitoring other boards, would they? Case closed.

My prediction: We will most likely see a whole set of figures (6 Collectors Choice Vol.2, CC2 Excl., Stridor, 6 Club Grayskull Vol.2, CG2 Excl., 6 Thundercats, 1 TC Excl.) and they may also announce another line (Bravestar Classics) - ok, thats wishful thinking. :lol

I really dont see the line being canceled as noone except for bcrduke is saying so. The 4HM were not saying something like that, TG has been quoted to say so, but he is not connected to Mattel anymore and I have yet to see a post from him personally consoddering this issue. Mattel has not said that the line is done anyway.
Even all those so called "insiders" dont report anything.

If the announce the line ending this year at SDCC I wont be surprised. As some have already said Mattel at the moment are going throw an upheaval thanks to low sales and a company scrambling to cut costs and jobs, so are trimming the fat where they can. And since MOTU Classics has always been said to be a small blip on the higher ups radar it makes sense for them to maybe cancel the line and not really care about it.

I hope I am wrong, but so far no one from Matty or Mattel itself have come forward and offered anything else.

The real sign will be if there is a Matty Collector panel at SDCC or not. Programming isn't revealed until about 2 weeks prior to the show so we will know by then. If there is no panel then they either don't have a brand manager to officially make announcements and answer questions or they just don't want to answer questions because the line is wrapping up. If there is going to be a MOTU and/or Thundercats subscription for 2017 they would already be working on it now and should have something to reveal at SDCC.

The silence is deafening right now, but I hope that is due to not having a brand manager in place just yet. I need Stridor, more Filmation figures, a full year of Thundercats, and a handful of other MOTU Classics. If all of that goes away it will be very disappointing.

The SDCC exclusive is no promise of a 2017 line for Thundercats. Speculation of the line ending after this year is just a result of Mattel's recent silence.

I think we'll see 2017 happen. Thundercats and especially Filmation continuing. (At least for one more year)

I can see the TC lineup having Cheetara,Tigra,Vultureman,Slithe,Rotaro and Bubblor the sub exclusive

Filmation- Mer-man,Tri-klops,Fisto,Man E Faces,Teela,Man at Arms
