i was surprised that zodac took so long to sell out, i didnt order one at the time since I was done with the line. But looking on ebay he is the cheapest character so far to pick up.

Gotta remember one thing though, some people might not know who He Ro is, but will still pick him up just cause he is an exclusive figure.

Hard to say. I don't know if Mattel has stated anything official about it, but I would hazard a guess that it would be a smaller edition size, due to:

a) A certain number of collectors would have already purchased it at the con
b) More casual fans might not know/care about who He-Ro is, since he wasn't released back in the day.
c) As far as I can tell it's being marketed as an "exclusive" and not a regular release, which would indicate lower numbers.

But hey, what do I know. If Zodac sold out in a couple of days I'm sure Mattel realizes He-Ro would too, even if it took an extra day or so.

The reason I'm getting He-Ro is because he is a great looking figure and even though he wasn't in the original cartoon he was still part of the MOTU mythology and that's good enough for me.

I think He-Ro will sell because he's an exclusive, similar to Faker. Plus he's quite visually appealing and of course there's all the completist that will be trying to get all three gems. Still the He-Ro ordering process doesn't worry me as much as the Man-At-Arms one does, I expect that day to be hell!

To me $20.00 is a steal. Considering all the other figures that I spend my money on where I pay well over $100 not to mention not even half as good looking. A measly $20 plus shipping once a month is fine by me.

Hmmmm...so I wonder what it will be? Thank God I have someone going to SDCC. I hope everyone that wants this new exclusive can get it without resorting to scalp-O-rama.

I thought about getting an extra pair to use as generic soldiers, especially since I'm not getting many of the Heroes. He's a pretty big character too so you know automatically the hype over MAA will be instense.

You know, I wouldn't put it past them. We're pretty likely to see a Battle Cat, which will likely get redecoed as Panthor. I could see them doing some remolding for a con exclusive or something.

Hope your able to get yourself one or two (or how ever many you want). Im gonna go for 2 myself the day he comes.

Also went to the store earlier today and picked up some sculpty. Trying to decide on what kind of pedestal I wanna make for the king. I had wanted it to be accurate to the show, but at this scale it would look silly.
