So what do you guys think of Cy Chop? Since Matty didn't charge me for last months figures, I decided to pass on him. The completist in me kind of wants him (the exposed organs look cool).

On seeing him without those stupid giant scissors and using Horde Prime hands instead I like him more but he still looks really out of place on MOTU.

Yeah, I've felt he looks more like a '60s Marvel villain than a MOTU character. I agree that he looks better without the massive scissors (they make him look like an extreme version of Edward Scissorhands).

I think he's one of the coolest MOTUC characters ever done. I mean lets be honest, how many characters could look out of place in MOTU?

None if you ask me. I think even a character like Mighty Spector fits in, especially when you look at characters like Icarius (a really underrated figure), Slushead, Sir Laser Lot and others.

The massive scissors is what sets him apart from any other. If Roboto fits in the MOTUC, so does Cy-Chop. I will go on record now saying that Cy-Chop looks better than Roboto to me from a creative standpoint.

ONce again, this is my opinion, but when I got him, he shot to the top of my collection. Look at Pixel-Dan review or go to ItsAllTrue website and read the reviews. There is a reason why he gets positive glowing reviews.

Cy-Chop does have some interesting elements, they just go together like orange juice and toothpaste. I will be taking his guts out to give to a Shadow Beast. I'm going to try to use his chest as custom fodder for a 200x themed Roboto. His headsculpt is interesting, though I don't know where I'll use it.

This is so true, i don't have Roboto yet but, when i opened up Cy-Chop i couldn't put it down..he feels very vintage and definitely could have been a character from Filmation for sure...some of the fans today of MOTU i swear.

Cy-Chop even slightly edges out DraegoMan for me just because of his vintage feel and vibrant colour scheme , i just think they could have lost the belt holes when retooling the Trap-Jaw belt and gave him some regular hands and maybe some type of rubber skin armor to go over his clear chest to convert him back to Scychor.

I'm selling my Cy-Chop. My shelves are getting full and I just don't care at all about him, Spector, or Sir Laser-Lot. They all got the ax from me though I am definitely keeping Photog, Draego-Man, and Castle Grayskullman. Some others that didn't make the cut over the years are Mo-Larr and the Star Sisters. I just won't have anything to do with them but I'm glad some people can enjoy them.
