That's pretty kool.

This line has me stoked! Cesar Joker looks as good as it can in this scale.

Unbelievably rad. Can't expect HT quality on an action figure though people. These are awesome.

Who is expecting "HT quality" on these??? I would rather have a plastic cape then a cloth one that looks like your mom made it with some leftover fabric. I don't know why that is considered "HT quality". LOL In fact, Hot Toys would give us a cloth cape! LOL

I dont think kids will want these, I think this line will flop at retail. I certainly want them though...

These are going to be speciality shop only not available in most shops i was told by my distributor. The UK retail on these is going to be realy high though.
I will have to sell these at £24.99 each.I can not believe that Mattel would charge this much for this line. The 2-packs would be £45-£50 (This is the only way to get Robin, there will be no single packed Robin either)The Batmobile is £80

I just don't know if my customers would pay this much and this is working at a low profit margin too.

I looked at importing them and the price would be the same thanks to all the VAT and import duty that i have to pay in the UK.If i was a grey importer and not paying my taxes this would be so much cheaper.

I think at the prices that you have been quoted answers most people's question in regards to buying these figures. It's a no brainier really just don't stock them because only people with money to burn or with a loose screw or two would buy them. It's a great shame as they do look decent enough to be a good collection. If I was going to buy them I would pay no more than £10 per single figure as that is all they are worth.

Only the 3 3/4 inch Megos had plastic capes. The 8 and 12 inch had fabric. It was nylon fabric, but still fabric.

But who's comparing these to Mego? Mego's were all cloth and that's what we expected. I compare these new Batman figures to any Marvel Legends, DC Direct or any other similar-sized line and those always had plastic capes. Plastic capes just look better. Kenner started giving their 3.75" action figure line cloth capes and they looked horrible. Of course, that line is dead now I believe.

Nah, I don't agree.

Other lines like 'The Brave & The Bold' etc, have borrowed heavily from the 60s aesthetic - & sell just fine.

These will have an even better chance actually, because parents will be interested too, as they grew up with the show, & will potentially get their kids into them. :)

It will all come down to the combination of price and distribution. If they are readily available at a decent they will sell to some degree.

I just don't think I even understand what kids want these days. Can't say how many times I'm the only person in a toy aisle during what you would think would be prime time for parents and kids to be there buying stuff.

Aren't toys kinda passé to kids nowadays? I mean, they're pretty much born with smart phones and high-powered game consoles.

The Batmobile is a Toys R Us exclusive only...hopefully it won't be a pain to track down.

Diamond was offering it,but can no longer sell it and had to pull their listing

The Batmobile being exclusive is horse****, every scalper worth his salt will be clearing out those TRU's.

A fair point actually. :lol

Toys still have their place obviously, but it's media driven to a larger extent than before.. which again I guess is also obvious. Now as mentioned, things like i-phone apps are a player with the marketing of toys as well.. & so the cycle continues.. :lol

I agree...I asked BBTS and they are going to obtain it,but then jack up the prices probably.Hopefully its not a limited run. When the Transformers MP Prime was exclusive last Christmas,I saw tons of cases of him on the top stock,so hopefully it will look like that when it shows up in July

That is super lame. I guess I will hold off on buying any of the figures until I find the Batmobile at Toysrus. No Batmobile means I won't buy any of these figures. Great job again Mattel!
