Coming from a guy that collects the new TMNT line?..really. XD

The Mattel Ghostbuster figures look pretty good to me.

I haven't bought anything since W1, the only things they properly articulated were the turtles and all the mutants are undersized.

I collected pretty much all of the Movie Masters BB & TDK lines and as far as durability goes, they've held up. My 5 year old son plays with them daily and he's yet to snap a wrist or elbow. As for the paint, the one thing I noticed is that cloudy haze that develops on a few of figures (even my demon bats that's unopened has it) but that does rub right off. They may be over priced, but I think they're still decent, durable figures.

I bought a BB Batman, the cape came broken, the second newer one has held up but has that haze your talking about. First BB Scarecrow I bought the elbow snapped the first time I tryed to move it. Same goes for the Bank Robber thug, the wrist snapped off the first twist. Only one I didn't have a problem with was Joker but he was also more $ because of the hype that was happening at the time with Heath's death, overall it was a terrible experiance.

None of the GB figures ever broke on me though, but I took them down and store them because they don't hold up on the shelf next to the Neca, DST, and DC Direct stuff I had up. And they cost me more for smaller figures so it's unacceptable imo.

I think Target and Walmart may carry these- very muddy, wish Mattel would clarify. Batmobile TRU only and they better stock a ton of these because I'm fearing they will be hard to find at least initially

I agree the capes are BAD, but I am supporting this line because I want more figures and none of the bad guys wear capes. These are fun and cheap... I'll get picky when it comes to the HT line. Sideshow really dropped the ball on not acquiring this line... this should have been a no brainer for them.

I'm not sure what's up with the complaints. Its Mattel. :lol People are critiquing these as if they were Hot Toys. Yeah, the capes look like **** but it's a dude wearing a corny batsuit with swimming trunks. And the paint? Really? :lol

:exactly::lecture

these are toys made by a toy company that makes toys for kids (for the most part at least). These look great for Mattel but I stopped buying Mattel stuff after Superman the Animated series :lol

:exactly: *****ing about the cape on a toy that costs 200 bucks is one thing, *****ing about the cape on one that costs 15 is another.

I'm stoked about this line and plan on collecting them all. I really hope they introduce a good variety in each line as opposed to making all the star characters. I'd like to see King Tut, Egg Head, Mr. Freeze and the Book Worm mixed into the series.

A great exclusive would be an Ertha Kitt Catwoman.

I want a Matty Collector exclusive box set with Aunt Harriet, Alfred, Gordon, and O'hara, and another box set with Surf's up beach versions of Barbara, ****, Gordon, and O'Hara.

If this line was exclusive to Matty Collector then maybe you might get characters like that but, as this is going to be sold at retail stores and only stores like TRU getting ex boxsets i doubt we will see something like that.

I guess it will all come down to how well the line sells initially.

I find it funny we are seeing the Neca 1/4 figure getting picked apart more on these boards then the Mattel figures, i mean look at Batman's ears they are not even separately sculpted to look like they did on the show they are not even there, just kind of come up from the sculpt with the mask being all one piece.

It would make me laugh if we did, though. I just love the fact that Mattel is embracing the zaniness of it. Never in a million years did I think we'd see a Surf's Up Batman.

Easy on these- mass produced $15.99 figures..BE THANKFUL they exist at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am not trying to be hard on these, i want them all lol but, i think so far, the Neca 1/4 Adam West Batman is the definitive version.

And the paint apps will live up to the proto on the Neca 1/4 scale Batmen, can't think of any 1/4 scale they've done that had crappy paint apps, my 1/4 RoboCop has great paint apps and that figure is pretty old now.

Cesar Romero Joker is my most anticipated. A Surf's Up version of him would be awesome too!

I'm grateful this is happening. Can't wait!
