I hope this means that Mattel has forfeited their 6"-7" rights. Imagine a scaled down 7" version of NECA's Batman like they did with their Robocop and Terminator figures. Imagine all the cool Kenneresque and Battle damage variations they could do in that scale.

Hell, DCD has done a great job with their Arkham lines, especially with character diversity. I'd love to see them score a 6" Movie license.

Eh these look okay but it's a shame that they're 4" rather than 6". I might pick a couple of them up depending on how the final products look. I am excited to get the Surf's Up Joker to go with Surf's Up Batman however.

Wait... Surf's up Joker?!? Where'd you see that!?!

EDIT- Just saw that! Looks to be the only addition to the 60's line shown?

That was the only thing I saw new for the 66 line. They also showed a picture of the Newmar Catwoman but I think she's been shown. It'd be great to get an Yvonne Craig Batgirl and maybe her Batcycle to go with the rest of the lineup.

They look decent.

I am not going to judge them too harshly just yet... These are still protos after all.

Pfft... that means they're only going to get worse. :lol

That would be awesome. I'd think DCD should already be able to, but who knows? They haven't really done anything from movies except Watchmen. For television they've done Smallville and the upcoming Arrow.

Which BTW those Arrow figures look nice and I can imagine them doing figures from The Dark Knight Trilogy and the Burton films.

NECA would be awesome too, but I can't help but think we wouldn't get certain characters because "they (ie Randy) don't like them". :rolleyes2

Articulation doesn't seem very impressive. I'm having flashbacks to the other 4" DC Universe figures that flopped a few years back. Cool to see Zod, though.

Really? Articulation looks pretty good to me, especially at this scale:

I see knees, mid-thigh swivel, double-jointed hips, wrists, elbows, possible bicep cut, ball-jointed shoulders, and neck there.

I kind of like the figure of Keaton without the cowl but it appears to be not very accurate. Shouldn't the mask and neck piece/Bat emblem be one piece? So the Bat emblem and neck area shouldn't be on it, unless they're going for the scene in Batman Returns where he ripped the cowl off but in that case it should have parts of the mask going up the back of his head and I believe covering his ears.

The articulation on everyone else is pretty much bad.

Penguin doesn't have any arm articulation. The legs don't seem to have much either. It looks like he might be able to swivel his legs.

Catwoman and Superman have no knee articulation.

Maybe its because they're just early prototypes and Batman is farther along.

I think that is it exactly. Batman was shown in proto stages months ago. I think the rest will end up closer to him than what we are seeing now.

I'm hoping they give Catwoman her whip, one of the batman's comes with a batarang and penguin comes with an umbrella.

Normally I don't say this, but I can't believe people are complaining about articulation and such when the overriding factor here is that these are even happening.

:goodpost::hi5:

The fact that I am going to walk in a store and buy a Keaton Batman & Reeve Superman... in the same line? That is insane. That is a dream.
