The fact that I am going to walk in a store and buy a Keaton Batman & Reeve Superman... in the same line? That is insane. That is a dream.

Sallah

Theoretically, you could've already done that; providing you had a really awesome comic or specialty shop that imported Hot Toys and/or ordered them through Sideshow.:lol

I can't wait for the Penguin...great memories of not only the Kenner version with the red and white umbrella but the animated series version. Great nostalgia.

if mattel can make an excellent penguin figure image how the hot toys version will come out......

look at that zod. all the BS mattel came out with regards their 12" release and how the color scheme was movie accurate "its red, its red" trim to zods suit. then we get a 4" version with gunmetal silver trim.

i like the look of them overall, but its 6" and above for me.

Good heavens, that's dated. I love the character, and the way Stamp played him, but it looks like someone with black parachute pants and a black pirate shirt put a red, latex version of Borat's swimsuit on top with some matching Go-go boots.:lol

Nah man, Zod was a fashion icon on Krypton. He was 30 years ahead of his time, see :lol

That's the problem I have with the Reeve Superman films. They aren't bad movies but they're dated so horribly in regards to the styles of the late 70s and early 80s that they're just kind of hard to watch at times. Certain films are better to pull off the timeless quality no matter what era they were made in but honestly the Reeve Superman films while fun movies just haven't aged well to me.

I dont have any 4 inch collections. i would have loved to have added reeve superman to my 6 inch collections.

The worrying thing is Mattel can not handle decent paint apps on a 6" figure i hate to think how bad these could turn out. I hope DC Collectibles gets the 6" license though if Mattel are not using it.

The old unmasked Keaton head by Kenner was better...in the same scale...maybe an easy custom job? Doesn't matter...I don't want an unmasked Batman anyway....only a Returns version!

So yeah....gimme a Returns suit and the Panther Suit from Forever, and I'm good to go!

I might even sell off the Hot Toys version now!

Nah...still. Regardless of scale, I'm with Sallah 100%....dream come true!!
