I had a nice run to the store today, now just missing the Kid Flash and Smasher's right arm:

Can anybody clarify this? Today in Toys R Us I saw the Green Lantern from the first wave but instead of a piece of Metamorpho it came with a blue translucent stand. Same packaging but of course no mention of the Build a Figure.

Re-releases are getting this treatment. Also, some newer figures are, if they are popular enough to probably sell without the BAF piece (Flash in newest wave). Batman from wave 1 and Firestorm have also been re-released in this manner.

Yes, Mattel is re-releasing the heavy hitters like Robin, Batman, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, etc. and replacing the BAF part is a stand. I believe this is spread out from current and upcoming waves.

They've started re-releasing some of the core character with stands, so people who didn't get them can get them now.

I picked up Barda at TRU yesterday and I'm so glad I did, she's the variant without the Helmet (the chase figure of the set).

If anyone needs blue Aquaman or Capt. Cold without the BAF piece, shoot me a PM. I just picked them up for the Atom Smasher pieces.

I have a feeling most people are only going to pick Aquaman up for the C&C piece. Cold is a great figure though. Apparently undersized, but I always thought he was a short guy so my ignorance is a blessing here. Really a nice figure despite his gun being loose in his hand.

He was the only one I picked up a couple of months ago as I'm waiting for CSC to send me my set. With needing to hunt for 2 seperate case packs to get the full set was too much for me to bother with this time around.

Just heat up Cold's hand and squeeze the fingers and thumb closer together and hold it under cold water to set it then he holds the gun just fine!♠

I think every figure in this set is really nice, actually, I just don't have the space or inclination to keep all of them.

But I wonder why include this incredibly obscure Aquaman variant over literally hundreds of figures that people would actually want (including Tempest), not just for the BAF piece? This obsession with 1980s DC with this line is truly a double edged sword (good: JLI, Wolfman/Perez Titans, Super Powers variants; bad: blue Aquaman, Vigilante, neglect of golden age JSA).

Sorry in advance but its about the JLU figures not DCUC. But I finally got the Batman with Wonderpig since we finally got a Target store here. Hopefully I can find the 3 pack with Batman "Beyond", Old Bruce and Warhawk. I know its more of a kiddie toy but I do like the design of the JLU figures. But it seems like its still selling well over here, does anyone collect these too?

Big Barda is really a great piece! the detailed scaling is awesome!

yah, she does look really cool. i was impressed with the costume. i had actually seen her twice and passed saying to myself, self, you're done with this line. then i found beetle, flash, and cold and promptly fell off that wagon. went back to get her but of course she was gone. i did find firestorm though...both versions! sweet!

Yeah I collect these too. I just started last August when the line became a Target exclusive. I absolutely love these and can't wait for the new wave with the Batman Beyond 3 pack to come out.

I just bought a set of wave 7. I'm only waiting on Blue Beetle and Booster Gold to arrive to finish my Atom Smasher.

Found 2 Capt Cold today at Walmart and picked one up; he was the only figure on the rack from that wave. I'll get Flash eventually and that's probably it from this wave.

Big Barda is really a great piece! the detailed scaling is awesome!

Barda is a great figure. I now have 3, because I already picked up the variant from the local TRU and had ordered a case with 2 in it. The 2 in my case were the variant and the helmet head, both having Egyptian eye make-up (which the one from TRU just had standard eyeliner). My girlfriend convinced me to keep my new ones because of the eye make-up, which I personally prefer myself.

If you still need wave 7 check Walmart. My local Walmart has a whole endcap split between wave 7 figures and Transformers Animated figures. I saw the entire wave there except the Barda variant. I honestly have never seen that many DCUC figures in one place at one time.
