So a few interesting things have been revealed by the latest round of Matty Q&A's that I think are worth discussing

3) Have you already revealed the theme or themes for the DC lines in the upcoming year? If not, what can you tell us about it?
While Wave 17 has a clear “theme” in Blackest Night and Wave 18 and 19 will have a looser theme (i.e. not EVERY character in the wave will be under a theme) this is something that will go away in Wave 20 and beyond as we go back to more universe building waves in 2012.
From the Fwoosh:
2. As a little preview to Toy Fair, can you give us an approximation of how many new figures you will be debuting for the following lines?
-DCUC
-MOTUC
-Ghostbusters
At least one wave of DCUC, at least four new MOTUC figures and at least two new GB figures are planned.
3. What was the strategy behind making DCUC series 17 a series of “deputy” lanterns, instead of Corps leaders (like Saint Walker, Larfleeze and Atrocitus)? Fan demand is still extremely high for those characters.
This wave was planned at about the time of Blackest Night 5 and 6 and at that time these character were extremely hot on the fan boards. Also, this was a great way to get some modern versions of main characters out there again.

DCClassics.Com: In a recent Ask Mattel @ ActionFigureInsider, Mattel indicated that a Joker & Harley 2pk would is planned for late 2011. Is the whiter face the only planned deco change for the Harley figure? Since the Tuxedo Joker is Ross inspired, Harley would look sharp in metallic paints.
We have not announced who the figure is that will be paired with Joker. You’ll just need to wait for NYTF in February!
Editor’s Note: You know it’s bad when you have to have two Editor’s Notes in one Q&A. If you follow that link over to AFI, you will see an answer where it’s clearly indicated that Harley will be the other half of the Tux Joker 2pk. I suppose that could be called an unofficial announcement much like what happened with the cancelled Hawks 2pk.
DCClassics.Com: We’ve got the corrected Sinestro in our hands and it’s much appreciated. Starfire is another figure in dire need of a redo. Any chance of getting a new version of her on one of the new female bucks?
Honestly, we have not really considered another Starfire, but if there is enough demand you know we are always listening!
