It would be good if that happened. Richard told me last week he expects it in a week or two. Wednesday would be good so I can play with it over the weekend. Either way, i am confident I'll get my set soon and I'll have to re-arrange my DC wall again.

I just realized that except from the Atom, Kilowog and Metamorpho, all CNC figures have been villains. And Metamorpho barely qualifies as one due to his average height.

Wave 16 should be here any time now... fingers crossed for good QC. The one good thing about being home sick, I suppose.

And the CnC's being all villains... fitting, for the most part, but I think they could branch out a tad, which is why I'm glad we'll be getting Stel with GLC2. Elongated Man would make a good one, but I bet they'll just re-use a lot of Plastic Man's attachments. Lead from the Metal Men, perhaps? Congorilla? I'd kill for an all-green T Rex-form of Beast Boy/Changeling, but that's probably too far outside the box for Mattel. I think if they go aheas with more GLC that they could definitely take advantage of some of the more alien GLs, specifically Salaak.

I did forgot about Kilowog. :D I'm glad STel is coming along but I read that the GL classics line ends at wave 2. I kinda would like to get a S.T.R.I.P.E.S CNC.

Yeah, I've heard GLC will end at series 2 as well. Which is too bad. I'd love to see it continue, even if a wave 3 is mostly repaints. SC Sinestro on the tall body is way over due.

Hopefully, they will just re-integrate the GL corps to the DCUC lineup and eventually get our Corps favorites.

I don't doubt that at all, if the line stays alive long enough. The new QC issues and jacked up prices will quickly kill this line if things don't improve and quickly.

In other news, CSC pre-authed my card today so they might really get them in tomorrow! :woo

when you say jacked up prices, you mean more than the current TRU high of 15.99$?

Got my wave 16 today. First of all a big thanks to Lee who suggested the hot bath for Robin's legs. No problems with him whatsoever now!

The only glaring QC problem I have with this wave is Creeper's head snapping off almost right out of the package.

Robin is the highlight of this wave for sure. The new articulation suits him, as opposed to the "why did they do that?" mentality with some of the other characters (Black Hand and AzBats come to mind). He looks great with the blue and grey Batman. The ONLY thing I don't like is the new dinky batarang he comes with.

AzBats looks fantastic even though his articulation is sorely limited by the sculpt. He does have more range in his head than I expected, and the softer plastic used around his collar and shoulders help, but not much. His sculpt is where he shines, and why he's my second fave of the bunch.

Jonah Hex turned out well; between the sculpt and the paint apps he's got a lot going for him. Gotta love that ugly mug of his.

Mercury makes me want the rest of the Metal Men pronto. I haven't bothered trying to switch his normal hand out, and I doubt I will, as the scissor attachment is probably the coolest accessory in quite some time, and the articulation lets him use his other hand to hold the scissor handle in a lot of different poses.

Riddler, while basic, blows the suited version outta the water.

Bane will break all your other DC figures. Period.

So I'm waiting to hear back from BBTS about whether or not I can get a replacement Creeper, and even if I do, I doubt I'll be doing the mod on him since his lower legs are yellow plastic painted red.

Hope everybody gets better QC than I did, especially since we're discussing the price hike. These are about the only figs I spend cash on anymore, so I intend to stay in it for the long haul...

The last price hike killed collecting the line for me. Remember when just a couple years ago, it was just $11.99-12.99 for a figure. Then just last year it jumped to about $15-16ea for them (DCUC is getting too rich for my blood).

True. But staying in context, what hasn't gone up nowadays. Does it suck? Hell's yeah! but as long as they don't get into the MOTUC range, I'm in for the long haul too I think.

Glad that worked out for you swiftlikessharpthings!!! He is indeed the jewel of the wave. Too bad so many people are having bad luck with him.

Checked my TRU today too and the GL1s are indeed $17.99 :huh

Hey Swift! (Brian from RTM here)

I get my shipment today..psyched!!

Yeah, the jump seems to be similar to what we're seeing with Hot Toys and Sideshow, whose prices also keep creeping up and up.

Having said that, it is still easier for me to say that a Hot Toys figure is worth $200 than to say that one of these is worth $20.
