During the storyline Flash, Luther, The Atom, Scarecrow, and Wonder Woman are deputized and are each given a ring of different color and power that befits their personality and character but also changes their appearance to what you see in wave 17.

So with all the Superfriends in wave 18 which is scheduled for release in June, has it occurred to anyone else that this years SDCC exclusive might just end up being Wendy, Marvin and Wonderdog? ala the Wonder Twins from 2 years ago? The 4H are big cartoon fans I hear....

in years past I put off going to the Mattel booth at SDCC till everyone has gorged themselves on exclusives and the lines die down but this year I may have to get to Mattel right off the bat and just get it out of the way.

Yeah, Mattel used to be like that. I walked up on the last day of the con and got Lobo and Manbat. Not so the last couple of years. Darned Wonder Twins changed that I think.

I really wish i could have gotten Gleep, just to complete my Superfriends. I am not much of a fan of Wendy and Marvin. I saw Gleep going for around 80 on Excrement-bay.

Actually if they do it like last year,
you can pre-order your figures and just pick them up @ a room they have @ the Marriot Hotel whenever you want!! No need to get in line!!

Awesome news on the preorder! I gotta take an updated pick for you dude. I got wave 16 on Monday and the second detolf I got is filling up FAST!

really beautiful looking collection there.

I think I opened up a mental can of worms and I want to start collecting just league in addition to only batman family villains.

Good news also, I got in touch with BBTS and they said the assortment I pre-ordered has not yet arrived. I pre-order the one w/ joker and deathstroke to fill in a few extra holes in my collection. Still...I hope I can get my hands on it sooner than later.

Last year I tried that preorder with Mattel and it was a complete clusterF! Never even got on the website. Preview night was the saving grace. Later in the evening got in with no problem. Picked up about 6 Plas for my buds.

I got lucky with the pre-order. I had a friend order the stuff he wanted and the stuff I wanted on my account so I could pick them up (I had to work during the pre-order time). It seemed like a fair trade off to me. Not as smooth as Sideshow's pick up, but tons better than dealing with the line on the floor. I wish they'd FORCE Hasbro to do this. Their line is always a living hell.

I don't particularly have any issues with Harbor as they don't tend to sell outta what I'm looking for, but with the Sentinel being the uber carded figure this year, its gonna be a tough line me thinks.
