What is funny is that the one punch goes through GL history with Batman, Robin even knocked Hal out once with one kick to the head, I can't find the picture, but it goes to the idea that Batman and GL never really liked each other. Respected each other but never liked each other retconned here:

Batman dislikes Green Lantern so much, he meets GL in one of his safehouses…with the interior already painted completely yellow! And then he taunts GL with a glass of lemonade, taunting him again retconned when the ring had a yellow inpurity weakness.

When the two are together its funny to watch....or read. Batman always believed that he was so much smarter than Hal that he could easily outwit him and beat him but was unsure about the ring's ability to rip him apart. GL knows that Batman taps the same element of fear that Sinestro does and so in turn doesn't really trust him. Although both had to put their differences aside during the Sinestro Corps War but it was short lived.

I think, like Marvel Legends before it, the distribution of this line is going to make me drop collecting it. I'll probably pick up the odd piece here and there, but I just don't get enough out of 1:12 stuff to hunt high-and-low for it, especially not when it means I have to go to WalMart.

Did grab the Chemo BAF off the 'Bay tho, he's pretty sweet and will look even better with 4" figures (if anyone ever makes any DC 4" figures worth a crap).

I hear you there. This is shaping up to be THE Marvel Legends of DC characters...both in scale (character selection) and in difficulty to obtain. After bidding on my blue wildcat, I also bid and won a brown variant Cable. Finally found one for less than $50 bucks

How frank miller screwed up the great artwork of Jim... although I myself prefers the style of 80's neal adams/giordano artwork more.

All-Star Batman and Robin wasn't great, Frank Miller has kind of lost his edge as of late, but unfortunately its been retcon'd into canon stories so, this actually happened in Hal and Bruce's background as far as they (DC) are concerned.

Back on Topic: I am really looking forward to the Cyborg Superman in Sinestro Corps costuming and the CnC Killowog. The thing that sucks is they are finally making a Parallax Kyle but its in the smaller scale not these.

Sounds like justification enough for another "Crisis on Infinite Earths" type shake-up. Hell, its been like two years since the last one, anyway. We're due.

No it's not really part of the original universe. Check wiki and they'll say the all star batman and robin happens on another universe.

G'c is correct. The All-Star stuff which is still being referenced here and there is technically out of continuity. Although the distain of Hal and Bruce is very much New Earth. Its only because Miller was criticized for making Batman a psychopath but you'll find writers who refer to it in within stories on New Earth because originally it was supposed to be like "Man of Steel" back in the 80s which relaunched the origin. The only reason that DC is saying its alternative is because people didn't like it overall. I was supposed to be tied to continuity but apparently they are treating it like the Marvel "Ultimates" universe now.
