I picked up Basics Series 2 figs of Kane, Mark Henry, & Vladimir Kozlov. Just need to pick up Swagger from the set. My goal is to pickup 1 of every individual wrestler instead of being a completist. I've got a few other figs in my sights to pickup next: Elite 1 MVP (which I see everywhere), PPV1 Heritage Undertaker, & Elite 3 Cena.

For those waiting series 2 of the Elites are hitting stores now.
Triple H, Matt Hardy, Batista, Randy Orton, Ted DiBiase , and R Truth (think thats it).
Also TRU is getting in the remaining shipments from Jakks Classic Superstars now. I got Jericho and Matt Hardy (which finally gave me a WH Title).
EDIT: Nevermind about the list, just resaw that someone already posted what was coming out already.

I got WM Heritage Stone Cold this morning and think he's great, Mattel really nailed his trademark glare first time out and that aside it's also nice to have an Austin figure that has his tattoo, knee braces that actually fit properly and accurate looking body parts.

The Jeff Hardy Elite figure that was on ebay ended at over $500.
Kinda happy and mad that the series 2 basic CM Punk has a different headsculpt then the elite. I like the new head better then the happy looking head, so I might end up buying it later on to either swap heads, or to use it for a custom.
Does anyone know if it is possible to remove the torso from the hips/legs on an elite figure?

Yeah, definitely not a big fan of the Mattel WWE line of figures. They really went overboard when they started going "Kid friendly". I think the head sculpts are horrible, especially after getting used to Jakks real scan sculpts, it's a big let down for collectors. Now, I loved the WWE Jakks figures for years, dating back to the Bone Crunching Action figures era. But I'm afraid the WWE figure days are done for.
On an interesting note however, Jakks has acquired the TNA Wrestling toy line license, so for all of you who have always wanted a factory made Sting figure in a RA or DA version, you'll be getting one sooner than you think, along with all the other stars over at TNA. https://www.ringsidecollectibles.co...mv?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=R&Category_Code=DI1

I really think this is a great, great scan. Best Taker scan yet, Only problem is the paint job makes it look like complete rubbish!
Just a stripping of the paint, repaint of the hair, eyes, eyebrows and goatee and sculpting of the widows peak.
holycrap the orton looks awesome did you mod the head yourself?

Im happy with my jakks fix up but I'm loving these mattels these days I will be picking up Elite HHH and Randy as soon as I see them here in NYC although I think blue was an odd choice for Randy's trunks.
after looking at your pics again it sucks Randy's tats don't go on his chest at the shoulders. maybe i'll wait for a better release.

dude screw the mattel you got yourself an awesome randy right there plus this will be compatible with the tna figures when they release. soooo maybe we can get some shots of randy giving sting or samoa joe the punt and rko

As nice as your repaint is I think that Orton is a perfect demonstration of where Jakks figures were full of fail as the body parts look nothing like the real thing especially the arms which almost make Scott Steiner's look anorexic.
Whilst not all perfect the Mattel's released so far are generally much better in terms of accuracy and if the paint apps on the heads improve then they will soon leave Jakks in their dust.

The improves you did are great. I thought about getting the figure thinking it wasnt gonna be that big of a difference, but looking at it normal makes me realize you did a really good job with the head.

Ordered some Jakks belts for my figures a few days ago, and finally got them in today. Got Jericho and Taker as my WHC, Randy as WWE Champ, Matt as Inter Champ, and Triple HBK as my Tag team.

Where'd you get the loose Jakks belts from?
I added the Elite series CM Punk and Edge to my collection this past week and continue to be impressed at the quality and am looking forward to series 2 though that'll likely be a while as UK supermarkets are always slow to get new stuff in stock.
