Well, I haven't been able to pick up gloss medium yet so the eyes are a bit lackluster, but here he is.

Nice effort MF, but I think you should thin your skin tones out more; you can see where the paint is starting to cake up in areas.

Looks like a nice enough start though.

HOLY MOLEY!
He looks super MF!
I agree about the paint ap, but that is ok. I wouldn't take points off a paint like this over that. Just thin your mix some. Paint needs to glide like ink so you can layer it without seeing it.
You'll get it.

But man! You really captured Pacino! You really did! Proud of you bro!
:duff

Thanks Les, means a lot if you can say that. In some ways, I like the rugged texture of how the paint turns out, but in other ways, it just looks sloppy. That's the next stage for me. I think I've got a hold on technique for achieving things with the paint, but I definitely need to work on the quality/texture of the paint when I use it.

wow. i used to think sideshow's scarface looked nothing like him. guess i was wrong. that's a pretty damn good sculpt. and it took a damn good repaint to bring it out. nice one MF. :clap

Thanks. Sideshow's Scarface is definitely a figure where paint lost the likeness in the sculpt. Pacino has a very distinct face. Andy Bergholtz took it as far as he could with the sculpt and did a great job, but the paint apps were very generic and lost the entire Pacino feel to it. I'm going to do more work on it because I feel I can improve it, but I'm very happy with it so far too, people walk by it at my office and know it's Scarface without the base or anything giving that away.

Thanks Les, like your paintwork, I have a hard time settling on any 1 image to represent myself, and I wanted to show off the variety of work I do.

NIICE!!

Although I wish I hadn't asked. :(

Yours looks far superior than stock. Great work. The eye socket esp.

It all depends on what you like, i still like the stock head. Mine and the stock are nice, one's more along the lines of the film appearance, one's just really cool and loosely based on the film.

Looks good Sean, really good. Looks like you really put that Magic Sculpt to good use :duff

Yes, it worked out nicely, thanks again for your help. Nice to know what I'm in for if I ever want to use that stuff again.
