I'm on chapter 7 of 14. The levels are much more confined in this one, less room to bullet dodge.

I think I might send my girlfriend to go pick this up for me. I watched the launch trailer and some gameplay, very nostalgic of the first two games.

Hearing the Max Payne theme sucked me in...

Half way through chapter four. I have it for three nights just to see what it's like. Damn it's good. Fantastic storytelling and awesome gunplay. I'm really loving it!

I haven't finished it, but unless you just really love the gunplay, I can't see replaying it myself. It's an extremely linear game design. No branching paths or big decisions that affect anything.

I did play the hell out of the first two. But like most Rockstar games, you aren't given anything special for replays...

I'm not taking anything away from it, Rockstar puts out the premier games.

Now I'm debating if I should grab this today or not.

Agreed. Any CE that has a statue in it is probably not going to get my money, but there are occasionally some really cool ones.

This CE completely missed. I unfortunately bought it and Have now learned my lesson. Fun game though!!

That expression was the only one he had in the game wasn't it? I can't remember if they had facial animations in that game.

He only had this weird "I'm getting a _______" face and that "I'm pushing out a thick ____" face.

Funny thing about the CE/LE is that you can usually find it on clearance in about 2-3 months. The best buy in town STILL has a couple of the Halo Reach sets on their shelf. They were marked down to under $40 at one time iirc. I'm going to get Max Payne 3 one of these days, perhaps next month when I move. I'll have an entire week off!!! Woo.
