Actually it was, that's why they never fought.

If it wasn't about money than PAC and his people would've accepted the terms (which at that time was like a 60/70 - 40/30 split of a 40-60 million purse). As soon as the purse jumped up to mega proportions and the split was irrelevant (because it's rumored now that PAC will be getting over 100 million to Mayweather's 150 million) it doesn't matter anymore. Fight was set and signed. So it was ALWAYS about money.

If you think it all came down to Manny not wanting to take a drug test you must have missed something. Floyd put so many stupid demands on the fight that nobody in their right mind would have taken it and Floyd knew it… he’s a chicken pure and simple.

Now, I don't care who wins. I don't like boxing and I will not watch this fight.. I just want the schmuck to get beat up as bad as he beat his woman.

But that is it, all he needed to agree was with the blood test and the fight would have happened back in 2010, when I get out of work I'll even link the Freddie Roach interview. Funny you talk about crazy demands, Pacuiao made a crazy demand that he get paid an extra million dollars for every pound Floyd comes in at over the limit. That's insane, and Floyd agreed to it, all he asked was for a blood test.

Floyd is a chicken? For the past 5 years him and Pac have pretty much fought the same group of fighters. Sounds like you just hate the man, which I can understand, but at least be objective when it comes to his career.

Back in 2010 they both agreed on a 50/50 split, Manny not accepting the blood test was the reason why the first and until recently the closest negotiations failed.

All the negotiations after that were about money, Bob Arum, and both fighters fighting for different networks, which I read was the biggest issue of them all.

I do hate him and you don't need to post a link because I don't care enough to read it. I am just going by what I hear EVERYONE say about the situation and they all say Floyd ducked him. In the end as long as Floyd gets pummled I'll be ok... even if he ends up winning (which I think he will) and then everyone can get ready for the rematch.

I like both fighters but I'm hoping Floyd wins. Either way though, I think we'll see a rematch if its competitive enough.

Mayweather - 12 round unanimous decision. Gonna be a boxing clinic i.e. a super BORING fight. Expect lots of boo's from the crowd.

This is my pick as well. Would love to see a KO but it's doubtful. Heck, a knock down will be a huge surprise to me

Mayweather will do what he always does. He'll act like a tough guy before the fight and then spend then entire fight backing away, refusing to mix it up and counter his way to a decision.
