Amen brother! I guess some people just want to feel cool because they have the series 1 version? I just want a Daryl figure; a nice looking one. And the Series 1 version sure as **** isn't either of those things.

Word... Same fig, same purpose. I just hope the new daryl with chopper is as good as some of the recent releases like michonne, Merle and Carl.

:rotfl:lol So you're saying "it is NOT worth NOTHING?" So ultimately you told me that the figure is worth more than nothing, you never specified how much, and that it is not the original.

Jeez, I am pretty sure I could have figured that out my self since I already know its worth something; what I just paid for the two pack. I also know it's not the original because I just bought it today.

I'll be grabbing that one too. Looks nice in the concept art, hopefully the final product will be too.

He was just stating that the series one version is more valuable than the two pack version. And as collectors we all know that even though some items are ugly and inferior to newly released items, it's always cool to have the rare and original ones.

IMO both Daryl's are hideous and unbearable to look at lol

The 10" will be AWESOME!

do you guys think Rick and Daryl series one will cont. to increase or stay about the same? Im looking into buying them but would rather wait.

I would wait. I think that 2 pack Daryl is going to cause seres 1's value to drop and Motorcycle Daryl will kill its value even further. There was a rumor that series 1 Rick will get reissued with the head from series 2 so he will have the hat. i didn't buy into it at the time but the same person also mentioned the figure that became the Walgreen exclusive and Motorcycle Daryl and they both happened.

Thanks man!

So I don't know if these were posted already...

But seeing this.... You know, This is Exactly what I expected when I heard McFarlane was going to do WD figures.
What I mean is, I expected his first figures to look like this,
No ugly joints, in a pose, great detail and paints.

I expected toys like what McFarlane has always giving us.... but instead of 10 inches I expected them to be in 7 inches.

I know this has been said before, I know.... But seeing this pics almost hurts as a WD fan, because Rick and the Governor and all those other crappy happy meal toys they have done so far.... they were supposed to be this good.

I honestly will never understand what happened to McFarlane and this line. The newer dolls look nice, but It is still not the same type of quality we always got from McFarlane in the past.

Personally I'm glad that they have got away from the pre-posed statues and the size, while I wasn't happy about it at first I've really grown to like it. Mostly due to display space. Normally, I can only get 5 or so 7" figures to look decent on a shelf together. Now I have a decent little zombie swarm going at this scale and I have to say it looks pretty damn cool. The last couple of waves look pretty damn good for their size.

McFarlane has been putting out garbage now for almost a decade. I'm surprised you were surprised to discover TWD would follow suit. :lol

the walking dead figures started off pretty bad but they are getting that ship righted thank god...i still don't expect that daryl to come out looking THAT good though

their assassin's creed figures are actually pretty good once you get past the smaller scale and their halo figures are/were insanely popular. the sports figures are still their bread and butter though. while TMP has made some bad decisions i don't think it's fair to say that they have been putting out garbage for a decade.

I always liked McFarlanes Movie Maniacs. I used to collect them and had quite a few of them. Unfortunately for me they were stolen from storage. :monkey2
I like the 10" Daryl but would have liked to see this in 1:4 scale like McFarlane used to do.

I agree it would of been better to have 1:4 twd figures

I have a whole bin in the garage of busted, atrociously painted, overpriced kiddie junk that disagrees. :lol
