Not necessarily ..we might have different versions of Kang by Secret Wars as there are reports developing..I mean they have years to change things around . IMO this needs to happen this current Kang is going get stale by next year
I certainly hope so, even if I find it unlikely. It'd be a crime to have a character whose thing is multiversal time variants, and have him be played by a goofy Z-Lister. It's a travesty that great actors like Jude Law and Christian Bale got wasted in 10 minute roles, and this guy will be getting multiple hours worth of screentime. Kang's always been one of my favourites since he ticks off a lot of my boxes as a character, and I'm beyond disappointed. I got over Namor being an OC relatively quickly, but this still bothers me quite a bit. I've said it before but Kang's got a specific look and demeanor that has to be followed for him to work, otherwise the whole thing becomes moot and he loses his character, which is what has happened here.

I know posters are sometimes concept art and not make it to the final product but the fact that Kang looking more classic looking in the Quantum Mania poster may be hinting something

I'm not talking just about the face mask. Which according to leaks isn't even the usual blue liquid metal, but just a helmet with a blue digital filter/holoshield of sorts. There are more ingredients needed to make Kang work, and none of them are there. Kang's a peculiar character, even ignoring all the Immortus/Ram-Tut/etc stuff. If you don't get it all right, then you're not translating Kang, but a generic time travelling conqueror.

I read that last week and nearly puked. How did anyone think giving a one man army like Frank powers is a good thing.

His appeal is the fact that he is a trained weapon, a human being.

With a metric ton of guns.

Yup. First the dopey logo change and now powers. I prefer reading about less radical changes to his storyline, like when he was turned into a living Frankenstein.

What....did they to him...this time?...
He has a logo change, and doesn't use guns anymore and uses bladed weapons instead.

He's not popular with some as police/military etc sometimes have the Punisher logo on their vehicles and stuff.

Bladed weapons and no guns.

Thank God we have Bernthal and the classic War Journal.
Yep, I love Punisher War Journal and have been eagerly awaiting Omnibus editions of these. It seems unlikely now with Marvel Comic's attitude to The Punisher and there aversion to making money.

Marvel is worse than terrible now. It is definitely terrible but now it's also exhausting as well.

How can they keep pumping out these other TV shows and not give us more Jon Bernthal as The Punisher?

That's the only MCU show that really had me engaged besides Hawkeye.

Just give the audiences the characters that they want to see. I have little to no interest in seeing Anthony Mackie as a new Captain America.

I know others have said it but another ending to a Saga with Secret Wars six years after Endgame feels like such a mad rush to the finish line that the fatigue of it all will eventually catch up with everyone. Those six years also include almost 2 years between Far From Home and Black Widow. So Phase 4-Phase 6 is 2021-2025. Infinity War/Endgame were built up to for nearly a decade. Just throwing tsunamis of content at us at a rapid rate isn’t going to change how tiring it looks.

Can’t say I’m excited for any of it. I’m just kind of bored.

In another thread, there are people complaining Phase 4 was not leading into anything. That there was no interconnection or a common thread to head to (like how Phase 1 was all about Avengers Assemble).

I don't think this is them hurrying to an Endgame level film. This is probably more akin to Iron Man heading to Avengers Assemble than it is akin to Iron Man to Avengers Endgame. In this case, it actually took a bit more time? It was only 4 years from IM1 to Avengers Assemble after all.

I wonder in Secret Wars will the agents be in it, Secret Wars is supposed to involve many characters from all over more than Infinity Saga had ..I’m guessing they could have many groups of Marvel involved from past as well because it’s supposed to be a big multiverse event .

Iain De Caestecker (guy who played Fitz) said he would decline to reprise his role if asked so there will be no Fitz/Simmons pair. Elizabeth might be open to returning depending on her schedule so there might be a Jemma Simmons at least. Ming Na Wen is already in the Disney roster so she could come back as May. Coulson, I am not sure if they would bring him back from the dead unless he is coming from an alternate reality (LMD Coulson might be too much of a stretch). Not much insight on Mack and Yoyo I think.

Lots of rumors surrounding Quake though. Chloe suddenly quitting Powerpuff Girls due to "scheduling issues" with no apparent gig in sight seems to indicate she has been booked but whatever project that was has not started yet.

Can you imagine if they have the Alba F4 cast along with Kate Mara F4 cast in this or making an appearance with the new upcoming F4 cast

No complaints here. I always liked Jessica Alba. :D

Let me rephrase then; no X-Men or mutant centric story until then.

Kamala being a mutant just felt so tacked onto the end of the show.
Haha fair enough.

I disagree it was tacked on though. There was always a question on why she can extract power from that bangle while her grandmother (who likely wore it before her) did not activate it. Then there was the scene where it was stated that the power came from her and not the bangle. So she was either going to fall into the Inhuman bucket or Mutant bucket.

These last Phases do seem rushed.

Phase 1 - 5 years
Phase 2 - 3 years
Phase 3 - 4 years

Phase 4 - 2 years
Phase 5 - 2 years
Phase 6 - 2 years

Has that been reported or assumption? Phase 6 only has 3 films announced yet.
Credible leaker.

"Member X-Men 97 motif". If she's a Mutant then what's her Mutant power? She's a human-clandestine Hybrid and that's where her power comes from, no? Kamran is the same as her (as is her mother, brother and grandmother) although she needed a bangle to unlock her powers and he didn't. It's just messy imo.
