I doubt they'd ever come back. They really don't need to.

DCEU needs a whole new vision. Not Nolan, not Snyder, not Burton, and certainly not Schumacher -- something new.

Isn’t the apes movie director with vampire Batman that new direction? :dunno

The mcu is lucky they got FF and X-men back. I don’t care what anyone says. I wouldn’t of cared less about anything coming after except spidey ,black panther and blade. You could tell they were scraping the bottom of the barrel with eternals and Shang-Chi

I remember when they were scraping the bottom of the barrel with a racoon, tree and even IM lol

Look how that turned out for them.

Yeah they were already starting with the middle of the barrel by launching the MCU without Spidey, X-Men, Fantastic Four, Punisher, Daredevil and only half of the Hulk.

When you already have IM, Thor, and the Cap, your barrels are already full.....

Guardians was definitely a surprise...

Obviously Hawkeye and BW were not the ones carrying the franchise.

Lets say Marvel is only half successful with Phase 4 compared to any of their other phases.

Half of 23 billion :rotfl

Iron man was a bit well known tho.

Some say he was a C list but I always considered him B. Not anymore obviously.

Funny that Hulk was A list back when the MCU started.

A lot of people forget that before the MCU, all three of them were considered B-squad, secondary Marvel characters by the general public.

It was really the movies that made them as beloved as they are today.

I honestly don't think Iron man has staying power without RDJ. You can't have anybody else in the role. Sadly the GA only want to see the faces of the cast in these characters. Just look at that recent marvel game. People aren't use to seeing iron man being played by someone else or thor or black widow

Somehow I doubt it. But you never know I guess. No one's money was on Heath Ledger when he was cast. Or Keaton back in the day.

Now that the MCU has completed its run, I'm rooting for DC again. Come on, Batman. Come on.... well, Superman, I guess. Nah, let's just root for Batman. **** the Justice League.

Don't forget about the women empowerment with Wonder Woman. That must continue for the real Justice League, the SJWs.

You've just illustrated DC's problem. Well, one of their problems. They keep giving us different takes on the same characters, meanwhile Marvel has (a) successfully launched a multitude of characters, (b) will be introducing even more in Phase Four and (c) still have the X-Men, FF, Dr. Doom, Namor and a host of others in reserve.

DC only has like 3 characters, doesn't it? :lol

Actually, only Batman matters. Personally, I don't like Superman. A super man that can do anything is just not really interesting to me. Wonder Woman is basically the girls' version of that. Aquaman is the water version of that. You see my issue. At least Batman is terrestrial.

If Superman really could do anything, he'd be like Homelander.
Superman is highly moral and has to restrain himself, which makes the character interesting to me.
