I would be excited Multiverse of Madness had a scene similar to Ragnarok's final bridge battle, but with Doctor Strange, Scarlet Witch, and Tobey's Spider-Man fighting together.

...and competent CGI.

Word is that Krasinski and Blunt are signed on for F4 and that all of his recent posturing with Marvel is all a game being played for the public.

The Krasinski/Blunt/Efron rumor was one I was hoping would be true.

That trio sounds good but as a Fantastic 4 movie won't arrive until 2023, it probably doesn't need to be cast until the end of 2021. There will likely be some new hot commodity by then to be considered, which in my mind makes Efron's casting the least likely of the three.

Tobey Maquire Spiderman is literally in the Morbius trailer in his Raimi Spiderman costume on the alley wall right behind Morbius the character already exists somewhere in the MCU multiverse.

If Raimi joins forces with Feige it is only natural that both will revist Spiderman like they did JJJ as a big FU to Avi Arad or else why even go to the trouble and legal lengths required of showing a huge wall photo of Tobey Spiderman at all in the trailer.

It is called speculation math 1+1 = 2 unless you are WB then 1+1 = 3 lol

An example of 1 + 1 = 2 is Vampire can only lead to.......Hulk......NO of course not.....BLADE!

What's interesting to me is that it's a poster of Tobey's Spider-man, but the "murderer" graffiti seemingly refers to the TH version in FFH that was framed for murdering Mysterio. I think Morbius is in an alternate universe but (a) it's still TH as Spidey, (b) a similar fate befell him relative to Mysterio's demise, and (c) his suit looking like Tobey's is simply fan service. IMO having TM as the alt-universe Spidey wouldn't make sense. Why would PP look like a completely different person? Toomes doesn't. They were able to use J.K. Simmons again because JJJ never appeared in the MCU TH Spidey universe.

Then again, Morbius is 100% a Sony movie, so they probably didn't think about the Multiverse at all and just used the old suit because they could.

As regards Peter Parker looking like a completely different person in an alternate universe, yeah, I've also had that problem with the concept. But then the DC TV crossover event happened and they just said nah screw it - all previous incarnations are valid even though they don't look the same and occupied different times. And people liked it from what I can tell.

Did people like it? I stopped watching Arrow, The Flash and Supergirl a few seasons back and never started the other WB series. Just not enough time and too many other quality things to watch nowadays to waste time with mediocre WB DC stuff. Anyway, I'm not about to accept Tobey Spidey back based on THAT precedent.

Seemed to be positive responses in youtube comments on the clips I watched anyway. I tried watching Supergirl initially and found it far too cheesy and never really gave any of the others a shot on the basis of that.
