I normally would have my doubts, but after seeing him as Geralt, and the raspy voice and somewhat silent anti-hero he plays in that, I can see Cavill as Wolverine.

It'd also be a big "F U" to WB/DC in a way! Cavill going to a popular superhero role with a Studio that has more than enough stability with their comic cinematic universe.

Career-wise, I don't know. Being Wolverine would certainly elevate his career again since DC/WB f'ed things up. It depends if he'd want to be locked down for multiple movies. Whoever becomes Wolverine will certainly be a pivotal piece for the MCU in the years to come and Disney would want to ensure they'll commit to the role and appearances in various movies.

The most common complaint about Jackman playing wolverine is viable for why Cavill shouldn't play him, they're too tall. There are a lot of amazing actors that are short(er) that could play wolverine well. Why can't we get one of them?

I can dig it. I like him, a bit handsome for the role, but certainly a fantastic choice over Hardy or Bernthal in my opinion. The only way I'd be happier is if they CGI'd him shorter. But after MI:Fallout, the dude can definitely play a hardcase.

I have a group of artists and performers I hang out with, another bunch of hardcore nerds, several close female friends, and when I want to just chill the **** out, watch fights and drink scotch, I hang out with my boys from the boxing gym. That’s not how you do a BeeBeeCee joke my lad. You have to dress it up in irony so that people don’t get the wrong idea. Otherwise you come off as those “men” (and we’re using the term loosely here for the ones into that sort of thing) who go on random **** vids and post ?made for da B-B-C oh goooooood?. As for Farrell, he doesn’t come anywhere near close Fassbender, Affleck or my man Jon Hamm.
