Well I was hoping to gift my collection to my fellow freaks who lived in the state or surrounding states around me but no such luck.

Looks like I will be distributing to coworkers or friends of my wife with children.

All those collectibles, steelbooks, and hardcover books…..going to folks who probably won’t really appreciate or understand.

Shame.

But I need to lighten my load…significantly.

All right so I made the decision to start gifting my collection starting next Monday obviously it will go out in small pieces so it will decrease over time unlike just gifting the entire thing to one person so for the local folks who live in the tri-state area this is your final chance to come and meet up with me for a ton load of free collectibles, movies and books.

I need that good karma and NO don’t feel guilty you are NOT taking advantage of me only my wife does that lol

For the next 7 days I should be gifting out approximately $800 in figures, statues, steelbooks and hardcover books per day much easier said than done.

Just returned and between the beta blockers, nitroglycerin, contrast injection and no breakfast it gave me a headache so i'm just crashing home.

Only statues I have left in my collection are those Diamond Select PVC Marvel ones inexpensive stuff in the $100 range.

All my statue grails are long gone hnnng.

It's liberating. For the first time in a decade, I'm now down to one sixth scale figure. That's it. I think from now on it'll always be between one and five figures rotating in and out. There's only one on pre-order and two others I'm remotely interested in, so we'll see.

I guess technically Spidey counts as "two" since I doubled up on him just in case.

Cardiologist just called and…..

Finally some good news my heart CAT scan came back negative I have no clogged arteries no danger of a heart attack he said that one of my main arteries is just in a position where when the heart squeezes it hits the artery and causes that little bit of discomfort and shortness of breath but he said it's nothing to worry about.

He has cleared me for my Kidney removal how exciting lol

They were like before you enter the CAT scan you have to pay us right now a $250 co-pay I was like listen I have not one but two great insurance plans and nowhere in any of my plans does it mention a $250 co-pay for a CAT scan!

They were like “oops our bad you are right you don’t owe us that.”

Frickin' hospitals... they always try to scam. Even if you go in for a check up they add some fee you're responsible for and it takes three months of calls to get them to clear it.

Yeah I'll never pay a hospital anything upfront again. When my wife had hip replacement surgery a few years back ON THE MORNING OF HER SURGERY they brought us into accounts payable and said we had to pay up front the estimated cost of her hospital stay before they'd do the surgery. It was @$2K. Well it turned out that their estimate assumed a two night stay but she was released after one. I figured this out about a month later after all of the insurance payments were made and sure enough the hospital showed our account had a @$1K credit. I asked for the credit to be refunded. It only took them 13 months to finally refund the money. The hospital had just been swallowed up by a large healthcare conglomerate and they gave me the mother of all runarounds. Little did they know they were dealing with an extremely persistent *******!

Honestly, I don't know how you Americans do it. Getting healthcare sounds like a freaking nightmare.

Don't get me wrong, Canada has its own problems but the USA stories I hear are beyond the pale sometimes.

Actual great news would be "Ummm, we seem to have made a mistake and your perfectly healthy?!"
