That could easily be a photo of the real deal.

Superb stuff Arian bud. :rock

Re: Medi + DX = Medix

My MeDiX uses the softer ab body but the leaking wasn't ever very severe. It's slightly darker than the harder abs, but at the time I didn't want to cut into my newer DX. Your choice, you can go either way.

Do the softer abs allow more flexibility in the torso? Because whenever I work on my figure, the stiffness of the torso tends to annoy me.

Re: Medi + DX = Medix

Yes the softer abs are certainly more flexible. Not majorly flexible by any means, but noticeably more flexible than the hard abs version

Re: Medi + DX = Medix

wonderful photos Arian...both works are seriously amazing. :thud:

question for you bud: I notice your photos of your Medix almost always have the lighting so as to obscure his eyes somewhat. Is that intentional or just a result of the down lighting of your display case? I actually think with most Batman figures, Medi, DX, etc, the top down light helps with the realism.

Updates soon on my Medix, the head has been painted and soon to be back in my possession. :yess:

As Umair said, the softer abs are easier to work with and helped ease the Medix process for me. I haven't really done much posing with the Medix so I can't say in that regard, but my plan for the figure is more of an iconic, static display so either way I'm not concerned.

Re: Medi + DX = Medix

Kinda wish I had some soft abs now.

.....Kinda also wish HT had just made a better figure so I wouldn't have to do this...

Re: Medi + DX = Medix

Hahahaha, doesn't even know which head he owns!

Actually out of Bobby's 10 or 11 heads they are all very different. That looks very like Teddy's Bobby C head if I'm not mistaken. Especially since it has been blurred in photoshop and brightened to get rid of the detail. Remember the issues with Bobby's heads, the dotty ness? Spend some time comparing them if you have nothing better to do. I am more than aware which head I own.

Jesus whats your problem?
:cuckoo:

Re: Medi + DX = Medix

I could tell the difference and I don't own either.

Re: Medi + DX = Medix

It does look quite similar to Bobby's but there are some differences. Suffice to say both are incredibly well done heads

Re: Medi + DX = Medix

Nah, I just thought it was hilarious that you weren't sure what version that was despite owning one. That and the fact that one was sold for hundreds while the other was one thousand. Good one Roryman!

I'm not even sure why you think I have a problem, because I don't, it's all in good fun. I just think it is pretty funny.

It didn't really come across that way. But no worries.
In honesty I think the head in those pics looks really like SOME of Bobby's. Not mine. I have the proto-head which looks completely different to everyone elses. In fact I can't think of two Bobby C heads which look the same. Teddy Daniels head looks very much like that. Especially the hair, which I think is too clean and needs greasing up.

Its a great head sculpt either way.:)

Re: Medi + DX = Medix

I guess it would have been better if I replied, "hahahaha doesn't even know which head you own!" instead of "him". Sort of laughing with you than at you.

But I digress, no problems.

Re: Medi + DX = Medix

I'm confused...

That's a MRM Joker head, not a Bobby C

:exactly:

Thrust, did you do any photoshop, because I don't see it. It just looks a bit intentionally overexposed. Beautiful pics. :)
