Here's my Medix with the backpack look. I plan on removing the neck on my Wayne head and placing it on top of the armored neck.

Re: Medi + DX = Medix

Looks great man - I think what's throwing it off for you is the stuffed thighs, perhaps you can remove some of the stuffing in there

Aw, Nam is giving Maglor a piggy back ride. How nice. Watch those sea shells Nam and watch your right hand Maglor. I see you coping for a feel.

Re: Medi + DX = Medix

Just got my Medi TDK today!

half an hour after opening it, I found myself dissecting it :panic:

gonna try and upgrade it like thrustmaster's Medix. However, I think Im gonna use the HT body instead of Medicom body.Tried it on my MJ slim body and it fits perfectly.

On the hunt for the DX chest and body part now, if anybody can help me out here :monkey3

Still a long way to go, need to repaint the face, belt and also drill the peg of the head so that it will fit the HT body :panic:

Re: Medi + DX = Medix

I'm new to this thread... What are the advantages of giving the Medicom batman pieces of HT's and vice versa? :dunno

I would have said HT is superior in everything except price... Unless thats what you're trying to make, a cheaper Batman? Sorry to sound all n00by and things :wave

Re: Medi + DX = Medix

Some of the medi parts are more accurate. The arms (gauntlet, bicep armor). The legs. The cowl. Though the carbon fiber on the biceps (and chest) are crappy looking compared to DX.

Just stock, DX in general is the "better" or nicer feeling figure, but in terms of looks/accuracy, those parts are off.

Re: Medi + DX = Medix

Good answer Platty! :lecture

The only thing Hot Toys in those pics is the torso. Everything else is Medicom.

Here's hoping a future TDKR Batman will look somewhere near that good,

Re: Medi + DX = Medix

BTW, why isn't this in the DC Customs forum? :huh
