I just did a body swap with the medi yoda and the ssc yoda. I like it a lot better now. I also swapped out the clothes and put the medicom outfit on him. now I have a real yoda that`s the way it should have been.

There's good points and bad points of both the medi and SS versions. We need a hybrid like the others are making now

I managed to win this on ebay for a little over $50. :rock Been wanting one for a while now. I'll be weathering the robe myself so any input from you guys would be most appreciated. :)

I'll sending the him off for a repaint.

One more character I can scratch on the Star Wars check list.

yep me to. I took the medicom yoda head and put it on the sideshow esb yoda body. it looks the same but has more articulation.

WHY???
Medicom head is too big. In fact, the Medicom Yoda's feet look oversized as well. The best Yoda are the Jedi Mentor and Jedi Master by Sideshow. I also like the much cheaper Yoda by Kenner, which is great to customise with fluffy white hair, since he has no sculpted hair on his head.

Medicom Yoda is the only figure close to likeness to the actual filming puppet. But as usual. Medicom scale is off. But its the likeness that prompt me to buy this figure.

Yup. I just can't get down with the SSC ESB version. I dig their PT effort but have no interest in it.

You guys going to do up the hair? I got mine about 2 months ago for our daughter. Although I also have my eye on the rio where he's moving rocks.

Been banging on about that for a while now. It's not perfect, but it's the only Yoda that looks like Yoda to me.
Imagine a HT DX version with PERS, multiple heads?

Any tutorial on how to put hair on this figure?

For my Hasbro I used heavy duty glue and q-tips. Not the best option, makes him look like he has a fro.

Better to get long stiff white hair, from somewhere.

I think PERS would look awesome on Yoda. Two heads one with PERS and the other with eyes closed, concentrating. Like when he pulled the X-Wing out of the swamp in Dagobah.

$300 for a 4" figure? No thanks.
