Medicom 1/6 Yoda

just in case anyone is interested... Medicom Yoda with custom rooted hair is something we have seen, my first attempt to add rooted hair to SSC Yoda.

That does kind of nail my reaction to it... mixed with some RMQ Yoda in there.

Thanks for your kind words,and yes he has got a little of the ET look going on. Mostly due to the neck being to thin. I think pulling the robes up around it makes it look a little better

Your work on the Medicom is astonishing, and I feel that in order to pose him more like Yoda does, lowering a bit the head, or a photo taken from above, is better.

I also think that Medicom's Yoda is based on this scene, where he is VERY similar:

looks good I did repaint the eye`s on mine and thicken up the hair. I think mine looks different maybe because of the body swap I gave him doesn`t look like et as much anymore.

It's honestly not a great Yoda. I bought it, mulled it for a week, sold it (not before taking some casts.) It has a couple of okay angles, but he's really emaciated/sickly, the hands and color are weird, has articulation like a vintage Kenner figure and overall he's more McQ concept Yoda than ESB.

HT will be announcing a Yoda sometime in the next year - just wait for that like everyone else.

No one has really done a great 1/6 Yoda, and SSC did two of them. I had both, sold both.

With modding and repaint this can be an amazing figure. The sculpt likeness is there is just the factory paint throws it off really bad lol! Here's mine repainted, haired and weathered by Jacob Rahmier.
