My last pic posted is of the actual Jack MIB which has been released.

Gotcha....the first time you reposted I thought the shot of him with the blue background was one the one you had in your post.

The box seems nice. I love the pic on the inside of the flap. Looks like you can take the figure out easily without damaging anything.

I expect I'll be happy with this figure.

Does anyone know of an easy way to lighten the black around his eyes a little bit? I don't want to give up on this one yet.

Yeah, a little tweaking around the eyes (with some advice from Mikey or Les) and this will be a great piece to have IMO.

I'm sorry guys I'm just not seeing why you would pay $150.00 for this (that needs a repaint) when for $20.00 and the cost of a SSC body you could get the Zizzle figure (which is a great sculpt IMO), headswap and repaint that.

I think that you've all got the medicom blinkers on.

Well, I don't own any Medicom figures so it's not a case of turning a blind eye for me. The paint looks fine imo aside from the heavy eye makeup, and the costume looks amazing.

Ditto for me, too. The only minor complaint is the darkness under the eyes.

This will be the first Medicom figure I will own because I don't just shell out those kind of dollars for any character so there's no way I'm turning a blind eye.

I've seen the Zizzle in the store and had it in my hand to buy, but just couldn't pull the trigger. The belts are too big, the boots are horrible, the costume isn't cut right, etc. I know it's only a $20 figure, but it just wasn't worth it for me.

Coat's nice. I like it anyway. Nice buttons and details.
I am breaking my Zizzle Jack down and rebuilding and repainting him on a BBI body that accomodates his neck post pin hole and shortens him some. I will repaint it and remake some new boots for him. That's about all he needs. Not a bad base at all for $20.

Side note.
Anyone seen this yet? Should look terrific on the shelf with any of these Jacks...
NECA's upcoming 12" Davy Jones. Looks pretty darn good to me. Can't wait to see the Crawford review of this one.

I've got it ordered but the pics aren't as good as the protos....still like it though. I plan on getting the 12" Davy Jones to accompany him though!

it's not too often that figures are as good as the prototypes....the darker eye make-up is minor compared to issues I've seen with other figures in the past (and there's pictures of the character where the eye make-up differs).
