So, is there no Parker HS with this thing?
Nope.

Okay some pics & thoughts on the figure.

Normal Medicom window packaged figure.

Spidey figure, hands, 3 web strands, & a clear stand (packaged behind the figure). A pretty bare bones figure. Which kinda makes the price even crazier.

Let me say that I'm happy with my purchase, & I think it is a really cool looking figure, & a nice addition to my collection. But with that said, I'm going to point out a few things that could be better on this figure.

Silly oversized "Beach sandal" boots.

s10v.jpg

I actually only have it on one boot. The other seems alright. There might be a hint of it in the pic, but I think it's simply magnified, & not really noticeable on that boot normally. My guess on fixing the "beach sandal" look, is to somehow separate the foot from the sole, then a simple case of lining it up properly, then gluing it together. Only a theory.

The web shooters are fixed on the suit, & it's a bit difficult to make look right in certain web shooting poses.

Even though there are a few annoyances, the figure still looks cool.

Okay, so maybe some peeps think Spidey looks too tall? I think it looks fine without the shin mod. Height is okay with me. But that's me. Also, I think the suit fit is actually pretty good. It can look bunched in certain poses though, but it isn't thaaaaat bad 'in hand'.

s08d.jpg

This is where the web strands go. Under the costume.

The web strands aren't really droopy like the HT Spideys, maybe because of it's length. Which I like. The clear Medicom stand can hold some nice action poses, but I don't know how "safe" your figures would be from "shelf dives".

The sculpt might be one of the highlights of the figure. Look at the eyes. Win.

s26md.jpg

Some good, some not so good things about this figure. It's an aesthetically pleasing figure, & I think it was worth getting one.

Oh yeah, ignore the colour tone of the suit in my pics. The blue & red looks lighter in the pics. The colours are actually a bit darker 'in hand'. Or maybe it's my computer screen :dunno

Well, that's my Medicom 'The Amazing Spiderman' review. Maybe it might be helpful for those still trying to make a decision to buy or not to buy :D

thats it am taking this back!! why my buddy has 1 large sandal and mines has 2 :D

Wow Lawrence, great review :clap
Figure looks real good, alot better than the original photos we saw. The suit looks great. The one thing that annoys me about the Hot Toys costume is that the center design is horribly done. Medicoms ain't perfect either, but it a hell of a step closer!

Once again, great review and thanks for posting :)

Great review L, I still cannot pull the trigger for either Medi or HT at the moment.

Agreed! The Hot Toys suit inaccuracies really bug me, However I love the Andrew Garfield sculpt. And on the other hand, Medicom is too pricey for what it actually comes with.

Thanks guys :D

Forget what I said here:
You want to scratch your itchy scalp Spidey? Sorry. No can do.

s21xr.jpg
Spidey can definitely touch his head :lol

Review fail :slap

I think I'm going to edit that part out of my review :lol

So, it turns out I don't know what I'm talking about. Figure actually poses better than I thought :slap

Perhaps wait for a professional review. Mine might not be the best to go on :lol

Night time pics, & camera flash is used. So pics might look different to my previous set :D

Figure rating up a notch. Time to edit my previous review post again :lol

Edit: I should say that if I wasn't getting a 2nd figure, I might be reluctant to push my figure into certain poses. The colour of the suit seemed to be changing colour (colour lightening) in some area's (buttocks, knees), when pushed into certain poses. Not sure how good that is for my figure. But it's ok, I've already purchased a 2nd that I can try to keep mint :D

Thanks Walker. It is a pretty cool figure.

I managed to get some daytime pics of the light hitting Spideys eyes in a certain way, that added a nice effect to the figure. All the pics are basically the same pose, which is basically the way I have it posed in my cabinet. Maybe my favourite set of pics I've taken of this figure so far.

is a good review .your not far off with accessment the suit does restrict movement of the body. is why am keeping mines in a neutral pose :lol the extreme poses for pics only :D

Yeah, for the price, peeps might want to keep it in a neutral pose, or minimal posing, to keep it mint. I think I'll keep my 2nd figure 'mint in box'.

Can you see my pics yet Desisandy?

hey cool buddy , thank Lawrence i see the pics now :rotfl i see your using the EB stand. hmmm i not even tried the medi ones .
