So at least we know that both the Medicom and the HT both share 'joint problems' The HT has 'Rheumatic Wrists' and the Medicom has "Wanky Ankles".

And those are actual medical terms. Specially the second one.

Jokes aside, there are good things about both, and really hideous things about both. This beach-flip-flops thing is really one of the hideous ones. It's brave for the more kitbash+repair experienced collectors to feel OK about correcting it fairly easily, but for those of us that do not fall into that category?

It's been said many times that you should not need to repair or rework anything on a figure this expensive, some might say too many times, but it's never more true than for this problem.

Looks good to me.

HT wins because their headsculpt is actually cloth and not plastic. IMO. Creates a more complete figure.

i,ve ordered the HTs spidy , for this reason i dont mind having this pleather medi fig, cause i do like the look of this suit. HTs will make a cloth version, with the poseabilty. But HT need to fix the unattractive body they are using and volley ball head. then i,ll have 2 reasonably good spidy figs

Yeah, I've got HT Spidey on pre order as well. Even if there are certain things on the HT Spidey that I want fixed, I think the figure itself will feel like a quality product 'in hand'. & at least it doesn't have "Beach Sandals" on

All joking aside, I think this is poor material selections and bad execution. Glad those preordering didn't get ******** from my criticisms and I really hope in hand he exceeds what we see in the pics. I do sincerely hope you guys enjoy him and maybe with a little futzing, people can figure out how to make that suit look better in the action poses. You definitely deserve a great figure if you're paying anywhere near retail on this guy.

Spidey fans are a good crowd, some of the other threads could definitely learn something.

Seriously, the way it is now, that Garfield sculpt is basically a non factor to me. If it looked more like the actor, then that would be cool. But it only maybe resembles Garfield. I'd rather HT focus on fixing "Spiderman"

thanks Niltusk we have our crazy moments... but mainly is a hobby and sometimes the passion takes over but do join in our discussion,s believe it or not we want to hear what other thinks of the figure, good or bad

yup i hope see ur pics too. postman do ur job deliver the fig asp the figures sweet spot for me is the way the eyes seems to light up. when its getting dark in the room . i,d tried capture the effect, but my old camera which knackered, one am using now is really pfffff. guess we,re the only 2 getting this :

I guess it does kinda seem that way. I guess peeps (who still might be interested) might simply wait for the HT figure, or maybe more 'in hand' pics, thoughts, or a review. Can't blame them. It's not the cheapest figure.

make it 3 lol i got him and i think hes awesome! the pleather look on this fits this time around for the look of the new spidey. eyes are very cool. hes a little too tall with those long shins but thats my only complaint. i also have the hot toys on pre order. never enough spidey
