Jokes aside, there are good things about both, and really hideous things about both. This beach-flip-flops thing is really one of the hideous ones. It's brave for the more kitbash+repair experienced collectors to feel OK about correcting it fairly easily, but for those of us that do not fall into that category?
It's been said many times that you should not need to repair or rework anything on a figure this expensive, some might say too many times, but it's never more true than for this problem.
