It's all a bit to odd for my taste. I'll cancel this. 1000 imported to the US? Where does the ES 250 information come from then? Here's what I found on an ebay auction:

"This boxset is strictly limited in production of 250 boxes only and it is exclusive for selling in Japan only! This is a very rare and difficult to get collectible."

I know the Ebay guys can write what ever they want in their auctions. Wouldn't be the first lie I saw on Ebay.

Still, tired of not having the right info. I just don't need an other $149 clone.

Same here. I was lucky enough to get the Shocktrooper on sale from SWS awhile back for $75. Thought it was a decent price for these clones...but for $150 or more, I really don't feel as they are worth the price. If I got the Shocktrooper for the Clone Captain price, I would've felt cheated.

My belief is that this inaccuracy is due, partially, to an imperfect translation. And then some of it may also be a dishonest seller. The edition size for Japan was 250. And then there were also 1,000 released to Sideshow. And I am fairly certain that is more than 250 would have sold in the Japanese market, they would have allowed a larger ES for that area.

Better? Probably a little quality wise? For the price? Probably not. It's all in the eye of the collector. I love Han Solo, but i couldnt bring myself to buy the SS one after i saw pics of the awesome Job medi did with theirs. I don't think the medi Han is worth the price but i will still get it cause it's head and shoulders better than the SS one IMO.

As for the clone if you want it i say get it.
