I'd be all over this thing at $99.99 or lower, but even as much as I like it more than Sideshow's Maul there's no way I could justify $149.99 for it. Besides, I'm sure you'll eventually be able to find them on eBay for $100 or less somewhere down the line.

i really like this figure.... but i cant justify the $150 pricetag. the medicom **********s can argue with it all they want but its ridiculous any way you look at it. i'll wait until february and see if the price drops to a more comfortable level.

Nope not I. I put my foot down when I learned that Wicket was $60. There is no way I'd pay $150 for this, no matter how much I like the sculpt. If people stop buying at these ridiculous prices you'd be amazed on fast the manufacturer will pick up on it, as long as people are willing these guys will keep supplying the goat for the slaughter. Enough already, and why is SS importing their competitions stuff anyways. Shame on you SS for double dipping. Ahhh.. I see. I would have thought the same, at $89.99 he would be tempting.

Exactly...$20 or $30 more for a more menacing Maul headsculpt, I could do that. I totally expected this to be priced like the X-Men Wolverine. $150 for Jango or Boba I can get...maybe...with all the armour and detail. Maul should not be any more than what Wolverine cost IMO. So, easy pass for me. I'll stick with the SS one.

I might have been willing to purchase this had I not seen that horrible picture of him with hands bigger than his head.

At this price I'll wait until its comes out and see what the in hand reactions are to the figure.

"Damn" some of you guys act like you dont have jobs or something.Im sure half you guys have decent jobs and can afford $150 for a figure that Im sure your going to enjoy.If your thinking you can get this figure later on down the road for $30 less then I can understand,but if your truly a 12" fan or a Darth maul fan for that matter your gonna want to pick this up as soon as it comes out,beside's it looks awesome so far compared to most of sideshows 12" ers Ilume padme,(just looks ridiculous),Bespin Luke(pockets and collar) just to name a few.They can't even get the prototype figure right until after people complain about it,and even then there's still problems with it.I just dont think sideshow is taking their 12" line as seriously as medicom is taking theirs.I mean you get what you pay for,and maybe some of you are right about the price being $40 $50 too much for these Medicom fig's,but hey I don't think your gonna see a better looking 12" darth maul for a long while.

It may not be overpriced to you and that's fine, but it is to other people and that's fine too. IMO $150 for a 1/6 "doll" ( no offense intended by that remark ) is starting to get close to PF territory and a PF is worth the higher price ( again, my opinion ).

IMO I think the issue is more that Maul is a much more plain figure than the Jango and Boba Medi figures and they were also $150 correct? You would think that Maul would have been a little cheaper based on it just being a robed figure as opposed to all the armor and small details.

(None taken) and I see your point on the first part but I own an Exclusive darth Maul PF and I have to say that the likeness on the Medicom Maul looks better and Pf maul has some doll like aspects to him as well,hence the fabric clothing.
