Swapped him over to a narrow true type. Looks great. Still need to break out the old bespin jacket.

Mine is already swapped over but it seemed like it was the right height. Just a bit too skinny.

I put mine on the new TT slim body. Shaved down the neg peg to the same size as the UU one and switched out the lower body to a regular bulkier TT. It works great, and you lose most of the skinniness?

I received mine and it is still in it's original body.
I'll post pics later!
Despite the fact that I like his skinny look, soon I'll change him to a new body

Yeah please post the original. thanks!

Hi !
I took some photos but was late at night and only one came out good.
I'll take more pics in the weekend.

Anyways, this is the figure in it's original body.

It's not that bad with the trench coat.
But the waist area is too thin.

yeah I know it`s a lot money but think if ever hot toys gets around to it.it would cost still 250+ and we haven`t had a great han yet except for the sdcc luke and han stormtrooper outfit but that was about it

There's a few things to consider when you look at this. The cost on PRINCIPAL... Which is always going to be infuriating because we know what enterbay can deliver on their own for that prince range and it's an all around great product with lots of extras. And we know that the reason we are paying this price is all because of Medicom and their completely unjustified prices. The highest prices from any 1/6 manufacturer and the worst quality out of any mass 1/6 manufacturer.

The craftsmanship and hand made elements of the custom community is what commands the high prices but why do people pay the prices? Simply because they want the best representation of the character.

Obviouse flaws and all this is hands down the best representation of Han Solo seen in any scale ever done, so far...

Price and value issues, i get the idea thst people want to wait to get a HT han which has been confirmed to be ANH Han anyways In 2014 and at this rate not likely until 2015, which means its likely you will NEVER get a ESB or ROTJ Han from HT, so if you're looking for a buddy for the already released HT Bespin Luke you won't get it from HT.

Also I should reiterate that it's more than the head, the outfit itself is great ht calibre. It's the body the boots and belt that are cursed by Medicom crappiness.

Also this is the way I look at it.

There are two tiers for 1/6 Star Wars figures.

1) Hot Toys Bespin Luke
2) Everything else.

Look, there were some very well done sideshow figures but even The good ones, like Old Ben painted by a master and swapped to a TT. It does not cut it. Sorry to say...

So Luke is in lonely company... Unless you bring a few things up to the new bar.. IMO in terms of core characters, there's some to work with with what's out there. (I'm talking core, something like the troopers or the IG88, things like that are probably fine but I don't care about peripherals)

Whats there to work with is Sideshow's Vader on a new body with a custom cape and helmet modifications, Stormtrooper on a new body, the new metal c-3po, Sideshow's new Boba fett with new body and mods and of course this Han on a new body with mods.

You could not do all that and live with what you got, but if you do all that suddenly you have a SW collection the caliber of Luke.

Some in-betweeners are Medicoms Yoda can be reworked to look top notch and any ESB bash with the clean Luke head anda hell of a lot of good part sourcing with custom mods (Dagoba, X-Wing, Hoth etc).

So the way I look at it, this figure is a very welcome offering at a very convenient time.

Looking closer at this fig. Is there more to it than just the head?

Just watched the video review below and I was blown away by the amount of mods this guy said he had to do. The belt he said is just one-piece molded plastic (he swapped it for SSC belt), and he said the body is unusable (he used a blitzway body,) the boots were too short, so he swapped those. He also said the fig comes with nothing in terms of accessories except the breather mask from ESB - for ROTJ Han. Are the clothes much better than the SSC Han clothes? And how does the trenchcoat compare to the Hasbro one?

$250-350 just seems really high for just a decent-but-not-perfect Han head.

Yup the price is ridiculous. I laugh at everyone who jumped on this because they were so blown away by the headsculpt. I would never pay that kind of money for what amounts to basically just a useable headsculpt when you will be wasting even more money on a new body, belts, boots, etc. When all is said and done I bet he put nearly $500 into that mediocre figure.

No I put about 290-300 give or take. If you're fine with the piss poor sideshow offerings, no one's twisting your arm. The difference is I have a Han worth standing next to Luke, and in 2015 I'll have two, from two different movies.
