Its the chin/nose/mouth area thats doing it. Tweak that and its a nice piece. I'm gonna consider getting it for sure. Lost if my favorite show.

Dang, besides short hair, it looks nothing like Matt Fox.

It is interesting how different people see different things... not that anyone is right or wrong, just that they see things differently. I don't see Ford all that much in the Indy sculpt but most do; I agree with most that don't see Ewan in the Obi sculpt but again, others do. So it is really understandable why it is so hard to capture someone in a sculpt... some will see it, some won't. I see Matt Fox... not an excellent likeness, but a likeness none-the-less.

oh man I LOVE LOST! But I'm not interested in figures from it.

I see some of Matthew Fox as well...but not completely...it still looks great though.

It is interesting for sure. Though for me the Indy figure and this are just on different ends of the spectrum. Indy is so very very close but this figure just isn't IMO. The Obi-Wan I do and don't.

This figure has that Late 90's Dragon look-a-like feel to it. He's recognizable in context... but overall not that good. Still looks a lot better than Hannibal :)monkey4) but is a fairly boring figure to own.

$90 for Matt Fox in a Suit, $90 for General Kenobi in Clone Armor?!? Decisions, decisions :lol

Why do toy companies continue to make Jack in the suit he only wore in the pilot? I can see that the body joint issue with the short sleeves or sleeveless shirts, but even McFarlane made this Jack outfit.

Likeness sucks, which is a given with Medicom. Hot Toys would have been a much better choice.

Plus, I hate Jack on the show, so pass for me. If it was Locke and looked good, I might have thought it over.

If tyhey tweaked the sculpt, added more stubble, and had in him in the sleeveless top with backpack,a gun and tattoos,I'd get him.Maybe down the line.

So they can cheap out and not have to do his tattoos.

I'm so F'N pissed. I am such a Lost fan. When Hot Toys did the Prison Break figures, I was freakin impressed. I was so hoping they would get the Lost, Chuck, Pysch, and Sarah Connor Chronicles. Then Medicom had to go and screw things up.

I'm not a fan of Medicom, because they are very expensive, the bodies are smaller, and the paint sucks. Though I see some of Jack in the sculpt it still seems wrong.

actually, medicom is the only company I know that does tattoos on their 1/6, dont know if they will do it here on jack though.

Actually Sideshow has too. Angel springs to my mind first.

I am disapointed Hot Toys didn't do the Tatoo for Michael Scofield. I know it would have been:google to make, but it would have looked :google as well.

It looks just enough like Matthew Fox, soft and cartoony as the sculpt is, for me to know what character it's supposed to be without it having a name tag, but also so little like Matthew Fox for me to never even once think about buying it.

Seems most all of the big 3 companies have done tattoos on characters, but they don't always include them. A bit head scratcher (for me) was HT leaving them off the Jack Sparrow figure.

Hot Toys. They also did face paint on a Navy Seal I think. Further proving HT should've gotten the license.

damn, that looks cool. :monkey5 wonder why there is not more 1/6 with tattoos?

BTW, no reason HT couldn't get the license. medi, HT and takara all did batman begin. though I would want HT to take on firefly first before Lost. probably easier and cheaper to get than lost as well.

Lost is not a popular license among toymakers. It's not a good figure property at all. When I spoke with ppl at Medicom when I first saw this I had to ask them why they even bothered.

I find it sad that so many ppl are fueled by their hatred of Medicom that they just feel the need to put it down even if another company does somthing similiar. Look at the HT Superman, The likeness Looks NOTHING like Routh on either version and yet ppl praise it to no end. This Jack figure likeness is not horrible only I think his face should be a bit thinner and ppl are bashing it and saying it looks like crap and on top of that jabbing at the company at the same time. I think it would just be easier for ppl just to come on and say they hate Medicom and all their products. It's obviously what you all want to say but it would make you all look disrespectful if you did. Unfortunately you all still look like a bunch of haters.

So if you don't thnk the likeness looks like Fox, it's because you hate Medicom?

Whatever.

While Superman didn't look much like Routh, the rest of the figure was flat out awesome. That is why people looked past it.

As for Jack, IMHO, if the likeness isn't pretty damn close, it's just some guy in a suit.

You obviously don't understand my point. My point is even if the likeness was good or not you'd all bash it just because it's Medicom. I wasn't speaking for just Jack in particular but the feelings towards all of Medicom's products.
