I emailed Cornerstore about the lower price on Alter Ego, and they said two interesting things:

1) They are going to adjust/lower their price.
2) They are able to sell them less because SS will be distributing them.

Crazy news!

Well if Cornerstore does indeed drop thier price, I will order from them. Very excited to have just made my first order with them for the Kane and Dallas Hot Toys figures.

Glad they are just down the road from me so shipping is not too outrageous either.

Huh-wha... The current price @ Alter Ego comics is $152.99. They will drop the price even more...

btw they are great. I bought from them quite a few times before. you should see the amount of packing peanuts they use. it's great.

Man, if I wasn't concerned about the scale, I'd get this in a second. It's perfect! Great figure. Best Giger alien ever!

I hope HT does one to go with Dallas and Kane.

If you're looking for accurracy, I'd say get this, I'll probably get an HT one, but after the ALIENS figure, and A3 not being poseable in dog position, I'm not holding my breath for HT to be true to film.

Really disappointed with the "poseability" of this figure. The main shot on Sideshow's page shows the rubber suit all bunched up! I still want him of course, but maybe not for $170!

Still an awesome figure, and I am sure I will add him to my collection at some point. Love the smoked dome, and the detailing is amazing. Does anyone know about the packaging for this type of figure? Would he display well as an in package display?

I'm guessing it'll come facing profile to the window on the box. Medi's boxes are basic, flap on the front, window inside. Most figures face outward but with the dome depth, they'll likely go profile.
