why oh why can't medicom and SS 12" be the same scale? i'm trying so hard not to get into Medicom but with SS's refusal to change bodies or release an armored figure it's killing me. i want the Medicom ROTJ Vader, troopers, etc. but they don't look right standing next to SS stuff and i don't like the stilts to raise them. does Hurricane sell his custom-made Vaders?

Exactly how tall are the Medi full size figures?

Depends like vader is 320mm tad over 12inches tall. But most are 300mm 11.8 inches tall.(like the fetts)

My only issue, sadly, is that Boba is ESB and not ROTJ to fit with Jabba. However, now they have the correct jet pack and parts pretty much done up so I expect a ROTJ Fett soon.

OK---sorry but I might have missed a post or some info-- are the most recent Medis going to be taller? I just received my first medi today (Stormtrooper) and you guys weren't kidding about the size discrepancy between them and SS 12"... anyone care to fill me in on Boba and Jango--- they're using taller bodies?

Just display them apart. I do, looks cool.
That's not practical for everyone.

It is completely understandable for people to want (and expect) consistency in their 1:6 figures, especially when we spend so much $$ on them.

Hmm... $169.99 domestically is not so bad at this point. But please let me know if you find one anywhere for the regular $150. I missed out on the PPO for RL reasons. Thanks!

I guess. I got a big Medicom SW section, then a smaller, yet awesome, SS Star Wars crew. But since I only have a handful of SS ones, it's no big deal. If you wanted to get a collection full of both, than $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.

No, no taller bodies, but the family Fett were never all that tall. They were short and built. So in theory if Fett does come out around 11.8 inches then they would be fairly in scale with the SS stuff.

for shorter characters it works out PERFECT!

Just to compare the 2 Jangos so far. Hasbro on left and Medicom on right.

The Medi is awesome but be kind--- remember that when it came out the Hasbro Jango was probably the best one that Hasbro ever produced.

Much as I am not a big fan of Hasbro head sculpts since SSC started making figures, I do consider their Jango a jem in their line and even looking at it with the Medi Jango, I think it still holds up pretty well considering that it was done only to be a child's toy as much as a collectible.

besides the pink lipstick the Hasbro one is pretty sweet....especially when you consider the price difference.

Jango was Hasbro's best head sculpt, by far. The figure was $35, so that was as "high end" as it got for Hasbro. Both Dooku and Jango suffered the squished head syndrome.

Jango or Dooku... There's your number one and two for Hasbro entire line. I'm just glad that Medicom's Jango is that stunning---and excuse me Medi fans--- not like their Luke...
